Jokes aside, it's a big upgrade from the "logo" he used in the primaries. At least there's more to it than just his last name in a bold font. It's also a big step up from this trainwreck:

I'm not sure what's worse: the Aquafresh blob masquerading as an "R," or the awkward "EY" ligature that throws off the kerning. Yeesh.

Except for the wacky B, it's actually a really cool font.

Reminds me of a comic book font, but the letters don't fit together well enough to be practical for that.

With the US election over, I checked back up on the Tory and NDP leadership races. The latter is less than a year out, and still no candidates have declared. The former, however, has grown quite crowded.

I'm not even sure if you can count four of those as "logos" (mind you, that's what happens when half the field is composed of Saskatchewan backbenchers)...Raitt's is alright, but the slogan is weak and its placement sloppy. Clement (who has since dropped out) had an okay one, although I'm not really sure what it has to do with running for political office. O'Toole's is quite nice.

Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature.

I'm no fan of Trump, but that logo is infinitely better than any of his campaign graphics. A little too much open space below the White House, but that's not a significant hindrance. Not that it'll be used in these formats, but it would look great as a lapel pin or a plaque.

I still love the simplicity and beauty of Obama's "Office of the President-Elect" logo (which was the first time the President-elect ever used special graphics, I believe). Gorgeous font, and the rendering of the coat of arms is beautiful:

Confederate Trump

When I first saw this on my Twitter feed, that was the first thing I saw. Now I can't unsee the nuanced Confederate flag. It really does look like something you would see in an alternate history CSA.

So any red and blue logo w/ a star passes for confederate these days?

Thinking they used red as a primary color since it represents the GOP.
