Some pretty intriguing matchups! I think this should turn out to be a pretty exciting playoffs. Here's my picks:

First Round

Golden State 4, New Orleans 1

Portland 4, Memphis 3

San Antonio 4, LA Clippers 2

Houston 4, Dallas 1

Atlanta 4, Brooklyn 0

Toronto 4, Washington 2

Milwaukee 4, Chicago 2

Cleveland 4, Boston 0

Second Round

Golden State 4, Portland 2

Houston 4, San Antonio 3

Atlanta 4, Toronto 2

Cleveland 4, Milwaukee 1

Conference Finals

Golden State 4, Houston 3

Atlanta 4, Cleveland 2

NBA Finals

Golden State 4, Atlanta 3

Finals MVP: Klay Thompson, GS

I feel we're going to get the Finals matchup that's been touted all year, but that the whole playoffs will be a fight to the end for quite a few matchups. I fully expect a GS-ATL Finals to be one of the best in recent memory if it happens.

Oomph.

WESTERN

Warriors over Pelicans in 5 (Davis will have one monster game but Warriors just have too much)

Houston over Dallas in 6 (Carlise will make the Rockets sweat for a bit)

Spurs over Clippers in 7 (an absolute throwdown)

Memphis over Portland in 5 (Best matchup for the beat-up Grizzlies)

Spurs over Houston in 6 (Experience checks out)

Warriors over Memphis in 4 (Way too overwhelming)

Warriors over Spurs in 6 (THIS CRASHES MY HEART; Game 6 could very well be Timmy's last game ever)

EASTERN

Hawks over Nets in 5 (A fluke win)

Cleveland over Boston in 5 (keep in mind that this is the first playoff series for Love and Irving)

Chicago over Milwaukee in 5 (a bit of a slog)

Washington over Toronto in 6 (two upstarts that settled on mediocrity pretty fast)

Cleveland over Chicago in 7 (Derrick Rose will come alive but it just won't be enough)

Atlanta over Washington in 5 (pretty easy lockdown)

Cleveland over Atlanta in 6 (sigh...this has seemed inevitable since February)

NBA FINALS

Golden State over Cleveland in 5 (this is going to be a clinic)

There are a lot of potentially fun stories and new faces in the playoffs. That's pretty cool, actually.

However...

Spurs/Cavs in I don't care how many games, because the NBA is ultimately a soul-crushing machine

Everyone's calling upset on HOU/DAL and TOR/WSH, so naturally the higher seeded team will win each series in six games max.

Clippers will beat San Antonio in the first round.

LeBron comes out of the East once again.

Golden State will win it all.

I still cannot believe the Celtics got in. Brad Stevens is too good.

I did kinda wanna tank for a shot at Okafor, but honestly we're really close to be competitive very soon. Acquiring Thomas was a master stroke.
