In search of Larry O'Brien: 2015 NBA Playoffs

Unfortunately for the Warriors if they win the title, ESPN and most sports news outlets will treat it as an afterthought after only a few days. On the other hand if Cleveland wins it will be talked about most likely all the way until next season starts. More storylines for the Cavs I suppose. The Warriors are not the Lakers and that's the problem. I'm looking at you ESPN.

Is ESPN the only sports media outlet you're allowed to view?

Yes. It's the law. Where have you been?

Anyway, I was watching the pregame show and they said something about Cleveland "avoiding another heartbreak." I don't think the Cavs losing this series qualifies for the list of Cleveland "heartbreaks." In my opinion, there's no downside for Cleveland this time. This series either ends as expected with a Warriors win or it ends with a Cavs "miracle" title. There's no "heartbreak" in a Cavs team with LBJ and six nobodies losing a series to the team with the best record in the NBA. That's what I think anyway.

I love that you're complaining about media reaction that hasn't happened yet to a title your team didn't win.

The Warriors have been the story of the season. Steph Curry was the league's MVP. I'm not sure what more you want.

I said if not when. I'm sorry you lost your Sonics and you're still mad that Seattle didn't steal the Kings but have a nice day.

You get to choose what kind of sport fan to be. The angry one is never a good look for anyone.

When your name is Dark Journey, does anything other than angry and offended really work? Maybe it's a self-fulfilling prophecy type thing.

Yup.

A miracle in the next 12 minutes aside, this is exactly where I’m at. Fun team that’s given us one hell of a run — one that I’ll always remember — that was never getting over the hump. This squad overachieved so much without Kevin and Kyrie this postseason it’s insane.

There’s always next year.

Less than 6 minutes left.May call this one to those Warriors.

But remember 2013...........

When a stacked and healthy team faced a 5 point deficit? Who knows, maybe LeBron gets hot from 3 for something, but this is getting painful.

EDIT: Klay fouls out. Did he have a meaningful moment all series?

Four minutes to go and the good guys are down by 11. Crazier things have happened, but the Warriors have just been too good since Game 4.

It was a total valiant effort, and there's going to be a whole offseason of what could have been. At least we now know the ceiling for Matthew Dellavedova (and Klay Thompson -- and no, he's been a big nothing).

Haven't actually watched "The Finals" until now because there are better sporting events with which to occupy my free time. But damn are these ESPN announcers annoying and overly presumptive; I hope Cleveland erases that 8 point deficit in these next 50 seconds just in spite of this awful commentary.

Definitely gonna try to go to Oracle after this to witness the madness. Hopefully I don't get shot.

Well the Cavs definitely aren't quitting, I respect that. But I still hope the Warriors win!

Most of the Cavs haven't quit. LeBron....wanna join the offense there, King? You're not gonna make a full comeback playing short-handed on the side of the court where you score points. (Of course, as I type this, LeBron finally decides to cross the mid-court line and shoot the ball.)
