ForwardProgress
While I don't think its an improvement over the 1993 logo, it still looks pretty good on its own merits. Nice work!1992-1993 logo. And thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it! I like it really well doneThanks bro!
ForwardProgress
Too many outlines. You original sketch is very bold and dynamic without any. Here is a color finished version without a silver background or any outlines, it is much more true to the original sketch. I think if the green was darker it would jump from the background more though, however I stayed with the more neon / lime green because that made a comeback in the 2000's (Seahawks introduced it in 2002.)I've love to hear what you guys think! Morgan33
I think it looks better with the shield background. Seems appropriate given the logos shield like shape. Still, the dual colour version isn't bad.
29texan
It kind of has a Transformers logo vibe to it. Bionic Bonanza! That was the FIRST thing that came to mind...

Yeah I had the Decepticons logo in mind when I did the original sketch. I even wrote "Whalercons" beneath the sketch just out of frame of the photo I took of it.Now that I think of it, a line of NHL licensed Transformers that change from Zamboni to robot would be frickin' amazing! You could have one for every team plus defunct teams. You could even have a white jersey version, a color jersey version, a third jersey / alternate jersey version, and throwback versions. I think hockey fans who grew up in the 80's would blow insane amounts of money on these!
