jrodsep
If the Nordiques hadn't moved after 1995, we would have gotten potentially the goofiest hockey uni matchup ever: You say goofiest, I say awesomest match up that never happened.

It would pretty much be a par-for-the-course (style-wise) uniform matchup for 1995. Meaning, it wouldn't really be that noteworthy, for the era during which it would have happened, in either a positive way or a negative way. A lot of 1995 uniform matchups were of comparable goofiness.
ConcreteCharlie
That Angels set coexisted with the black Reds for three whole years and they never played. The baseball Gods were watching down on us all.

bwburke94
That Angels set coexisted with the black Reds for three whole years and they never played. The baseball Gods were watching down on us all.Interleague is easy for this. Any pair of uniform sets in opposite leagues and non-corresponding divisions in which one team's set ended in 2001 or earlier are likely to have never played. For instance:The inaugural Devil Rays set never played any NL Central or NL West teams. The Angels' first Anaheim-era set never played any NL East or NL Central teams, except Milwaukee who they overlapped with in the AL for a year:The late-90s Blue Jays revamp never played any NL Central teams, except Milwaukee. They also never played San Diego. The pinstriped Padres never played any AL East or AL Central teams, except the Yankees in the 1998 World Series. gothedistance
Cowboys vs Texans/Chiefs in Kansas City. (50th Anniversary of the AFL)That was a color vs color game.In 2009 the Cowboys and Chiefs both wore their colored throwbacks, and in 2002 the Cowboys and Redskins both did.I know the Cowboys have never word their blue jerseys against the following teams, in which the other team wore white at home:at Baltimoreat Chicagoat Cincinnatiat Detroitat Green Bayat Kansas Cityat Minnesotaat Oaklandat SeattleDepends on which Baltimore. The Baltimore Colts, yes. The Baltimore Ravens, no.The Cincinnati Bengals wore white at home from September through October in years 1979-1984. The Cowboys were scheduled to play at Cincinnati in October of 1982, and the game fell under the cancellation of the NFL strike that year.
dolphingator1
Did this happen or is this a photoshop. Source is Uniwatch. This is just artwork, the Dolphins have never played in a game where both teams wore colored jerseys. It's hard enough to ever get them to wear aqua all by their selves LOL.As I have posted elsewhere, they have never worn aqua against the Seattle Seahawks anytime, anywhere in their entire history, and have never worn aqua against Carolina in any regular-season game. Unocal
Believe it or not, I found a rare NBA example: These jerseys coincided for only three seasons- the Pacers and Suns not playing in the lockout shortened '99 seasons. And the two times they did play at Market Square Arena were games when Phoenix wore the black alternates. 1998 2000

chrispw12
A few one season NFL ones that didn't happen, in 1997 the Bronco's in the first year of their modern uniform didn't play the Jets in the last year of the Gastineau era look and in 1996 Broncos in last year in orange crush didn't play the Eagles in their first year in midnight green

That would have been a nice matchup. In fact, the Ravens must have never played the Creamsicle Bucs. The Bucs changed the following year.
MCM0313
Dirty Bird Falcons vs. 2002 home-throwback Redskins. Actually any Falcons vs. those. Lots of other teams never met those since they were worn for just eight games. The Bills' navy-and-piping monstrosities never met the Dirty Birds, but I actually feel good about that. chrispw12
Also, the Eagles midnight green didn't play the Bucs pewter in their only overlap year of 1996, Philadelphia in their last year in Kelly green 1995 didn't play Carolina or Jacksonville and Denver in the orange crush didn't play Carolina. Also, while the team names and uniforms stayed the same with their moves we didn't get a game between the Los Angeles Raiders and Baltimore Colts during their two year overlap of 1982-83. crosfam
The way SB 40 was supposed to look (until the Steelers chose to wear whites). The Seahawks whites would have looked great indoors on the Ford Stadium turf.
