In a common strategic move, Quarterback Jay Cutler took a knee to run out the clock and assure victory," Schneiderman writes in his motion. "This play cost the Bears one yard, and reduced Cutler’s total fantasy production by one-tenth of one point -- and reportedly cost one unlucky FanDuel player $20,000; he had apparently picked Cutler and the one-tenth of a point reduction spelled the difference between winning $50,000 in first place and $30,000 in second place. (By contrast, that same one-tenth of a point reduction was a lucky break for the DFS player who took first prize.)"Schneiderman did not reveal the identity of the contestant in the motion. That's nice of him to not give out the name of which DraftKings employee it was. STL FANATIC
Well, I'm quitting the NFL again. Yeah the Rams suck. Yeah they're probably moving. Yeah the NFL is the greediest organization on earth. But I'm quitting (again) because the sport of football is pretty disgusting and the NFL still isn't actually doing anything to fix it. (Frankly, I don't think they can anyways. It's an inherent problem with the sport. But the NFL isn't even trying. They're just after PR and legal cover.) What happened yesterday to the Rams is everything I hate about my NFL experience. The Rams choked away an easily winnable game in another new way. But more important than the fact that they did so, was how. Case Keenum was CLEARLY concussed on a play, and neither the Rams nor the objective NFL concussion spotter removed him from the game. Two plays later his inability to react in any reasonable time frame led to a fumble that set up the loss. It's disgusting. And do you know how many questions the media asked Jeff Fisher about it in the post-game? Not one. It's goddamned disgusting. I'm out. For the sake of history, I'll still probably attend the Rams final home game, and I'll probably watch their final overall game on television. But I'm now longer invested. And my position on the stadium funding for the Rams in St. Louis is as clear as ever: don't do it. I don't care where the stadium is or who is paying, I don't want it in St. Louis. That's the route I'd like to see my city take. Don't pass a bad deal. Don't decline a bad deal and say it's all about money. Decline it and say "you're not worth supporting." Because the NFL just isn't. The sport of football is bad and the NFL is worse. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
JayMac
^^That is horrible. How does a concussion spotter not have him removed from the game? Isn't that the spotter's sole function? That is inexcusable. My issue may be petty to a concussion issue but I have a problem with the pace of the game. I know it's nothing new that the games are too slow. However, it seems so much worse this year. It's funny that baseball is trying to speed up its game and football is doing the opposite.

Football is "action packed!"The other thing is that MLB takes place almost every day. NFL games are at an advantage in that they are "events." People can take 3.5 hours once a week. But not 6.5 days a week. But I agree...games drag too long (and it's worse in college). I love when I turn on ESPN and the guide says "SportsCenter." Instead there is a college game just starting the 4th quarter. CS85
That was one of the more brutal concussions I've ever seen sustained. The way his head bounced into the ground was sickening. I saw lights in my eyes just watching it. edit:Chris Mortensen @mortreportNFL & NFLPA will conduct mandatory conference call Tues w all 32 head athletic trainers to discuss concussion protocol after Keenum incident Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. oldschoolvikings
So, when the Ram's quarterback gets a concussion, does Greg Williams have to talk himself out of running across the field and giving money to the opposing player? http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
Cosmic
(Semi-serious)Fire the spotters and have fans text in to a special number like they have now to report jack*** fans in the stadium. It's unconscionable that a professional whose sole purpose is to watch for things like this can miss something that millions of people plainly saw on their TV. BBTV
So this dude Landon Collins, who apparently plays on the Giants, get not one, not two, but three girls pregnant at the exact same time (they each delivered babies within two weeks of each other) and then gets engaged to his main bitch after his three baby mommas give birf. So there's obviously the instagram and text drama that always accompanies situations like this once the side bitches find out about each other, and apparently they all proud of banging multiple NFL and NCAA players with no protection. But the kicker here is that not only is an NFL player is telling his baby momma to go on food stamps rather than provide for his child... but he's claiming that he would get food stamps if he could, just to save money! This is still nothing compared to how Lesean McCoy did his babymomma on text / twitter (that was down right evil - this is a lot of things, not sure about evil though) but still worthy of resurrecting this thread. Enjoy. http://blacksportsonline.com/home/2016/03/landon-collins-gets-engaged-to-woman-after-getting-3-other-gfs-pregnant-photos/ "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." He'll most likely be back by the regular season opener. It's really not that big of a deal.

If he hurt his ankle in a game that matters that's one thing, but he injured in an exhibition that shouldn't exist. I'm not upset that he waited to have surgery. He was waiting to see how it responded. I get that. I'm upset because instead of gearing up this summer he's going to be rehabbing throughout training camp and he's one of the offense's most important pieces. It's a big deal. BBTV
Not breaking news, but disappointing Eagles receiver Nelson Agular investigated for sexual assault / rape. http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20160611_Eagles__Nelson_Agholor_under_police_investigation.html?mobi=true By all accounts so far, including other strippers, this likely won't stand. Apparently he agreed to pay $1,400 for a bj or some other act and finished fast so he didn't feel that he had to pay for the whole hour. Maybe he'll get solicitation or something, not sure how that works, but so far doesn't sound like anything too bad. Apparently cumming is the only thing he can do fast. The_Admiral
Look at what's on the sidebar: Quote LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Emily Austen, a 27-year-old Fox Sports Reporter, was fired Friday after making insensitive remarks about Mexican, Jewish and Chinese people. Austen's troubles stemmed from an appearance on Barstool Sports' "Rundown" Thursday where, according to Deadspin, she disparaged Mexican and Chinese people after being asked about a high school valedictorian who used Twitter to brag about being an undocumented citizen. "I didn't even know Mexicans were that smart. ...That's f***ed up," Austen said. "I didn't mean it like that. You see, you guys know that the Chinese guy is always the smartest guy in math class." After that the Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando Magic reporter added some Anti-Semitic remarks when talking about her work experience as a server in Boca Raton, Florida. "The way I used to talk to the Jews in Boca. I just didn't care," she said. "They would complain and b***h about everything. I gave a guy, delivered his beer, and he was complaining to me that there was too much head. I knew that he was a stingy a** and he wasn't going to give me a tip."
