2001mark
Sorry useless thread, I just wanted to be on the record... I think this......needs to go back to this......or at least give us back something resembling this...Yay? Nay? Personally, I love their 90's logo & caps wordmark, yet their older branding is still too iconic to ditch either.I mean look at that latest one, it looks like a logo for some cheap airline from a small island nation no one ever uses. @2001mark
TheRicSlick
I agree, they need to go back to the classic Pepsi logo. Not because it looks the best, but because Pepsi has gone retro with it's new packaging. Look how the navy in the logo clashes with the lighter blue can! Also, Pepsi has a modern logo paired with an old style wordmark, what a mess.
Morgan33
A flat, two colour version of the 90's logo would be perfect. They should also ditch navy all together. Red, white with a light shade of Royal Blue would be ideal.

BBTV
I never realized how out of shape CM Punk was. Unless being fat is part of your gimmick (and for that to work you'd have to be really fat), why wouldn't you just train a little more to lose the flab? Don't need to be huge or a body builder or anything, but at least make yourself look better than an average joe. It's your job, right? kmccarthy27
I think Pepsi changing to that logo every 5 years or so, just shows how much they have an inferiority complex with Coke, who has not done a major logo change in forever.
BrandMooreArt
i like the aesthetics of the 70's-80s stuff, but going to a retro identity would mean changing their brand and essentially trying to out-Coke, Coke. which would not be a good thing.Coca-Cola is about classic, Americana, happiness. Pepsi has always built their brand on modern themes and having a hot pop-star as a spokesperson. while Coke plays is classic, Pepsi's brand is about the now. their current identity isn't great, but it is modern. whenever they change, that's what they have to push for. it doesn't matter if it only last 7 years, change is part of who they are. design is never about what "looks good", it's about communication. they'll always be a modern brand and communicate that through everything they do and every way they look  GRAPHIC ARTIST BEHANCE  /  MEDIUM /  DRIBBBLE

Yeah, & everyone knows it, that it's a thing they do. I read a history of Coca Cola book a couple years ago, one of the reasons Pepsi won the taste wars is because a small shot of ice cold Pepsi does taste better than a similar small sample of Coke. It's when you drink a full can or bottle serving that Coke is the easier drinking, & thus more enjoyable. Both companies seemed to realize that yet didn't do much anything about it. @2001mark
CS85
I like the clean look of their cans. Let's the blue really stand out, and that color is really Pepsi's only major marketing ploy. Bring back the ying yang logo and keep it simple. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. SiLeNt WaVe
Coke vs Pepsi is regional too. Northwest is Pepsi by a mile. I worked for them for 5 years and we outsold Coke 4 to 1 on a regular basis. But I'll say without Mountain Dew, Pepsi would have probably died a while ago. This would be just right for them:Found here.I do like their script too. BadSeed84
What looks weird is some of their soda trucks, they replaced the pepsi globe with the current one, so you'll see the current logo but with the 90's wordmark.A flat version of their old iconic logo would be good, but I hate to say it their current logo has grown a but on more, but the old one is still better.Mountain Dew I think absolutely needs a change from the mtn dew look. GeauxColonels
Pepsi is far superior to coke in every wayAbsolutely disagree...but I will say that fountain Pepsi is better than bottled Pepsi. It's the only way I'll drink it.
SiLeNt WaVe
Coke in glass bottles or at McDonald's is the only way I'll drink it. Otherwise it's Pepsi 90% of the time.
