- Increased emphasis on white/grey over black

- Actually wearing white socks (go figure!)

- The diamond-sock sleeve patch is back on the normal home and roads, as is the thick striping

- Home alternate based on the 1980s "Winning Ugly" uniform

- Road alternate somewhat based on the 1999-2007 alternate vests

Thoughts?

- Totally new color scheme in which every color, including white and grey, is a shade of purple

- Mountain striping on the sleeves of the everyday uniforms

- Fauxback calls to mind the infamous Denver Bears "strike zone" uniform and the Rockies' TATC uniform

- Batting practice jersey calls back to traditional baseball aesthetics, as the rest of the set is decidedly non-traditional

Thoughts?

I really like the Rockies set, but two purple jerseys seems like a bit much. Also, I get on the fauxback that the Bears pants were like that but I just can't get past it, I really like the jersey though.

Also maybe make the fauxback have a white front panel

Having specialized home and road versions of the same alternate isn't unprecedented in the MLB, though. The Brewers, Mets and Twins currently do it, the Astros did it with their previous uniform set and the Indians did it way back in the late '90s and early 2000's.

Maybe a black cap for the Sox, and the Rockies sleeves are not really doing it for me.

Favorites: Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, New York Rangers, New York Knicks, Cam Newton ND Irish

Least Favorites: New York Giants, New York Mets, Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Eagles, OBJ

I like the heavy grey/white for the White Sox, but I feel that the lack of a "Sox" mark is really hampering the look. I'm not a fan of the old English "C", and I would think that similarity to the Cubs would rub Sox fans the wrong way. Maybe it could work as a road cap, with a "Sox" cap at home. Also, the pants stripes seem a little thick. I'd match them up with the jersey trim.

I REALLY like that look for the Rockies. The typeface works really well, the mountains on the sleeves look great, and the sublimated mountains in the wordmarks and numbers are an awesome touch. No negative remarks whatsoever.

Also, just as an aside, is there any reason why you didn't go with the current BP templates? In your MLB world would teams have unique BP jerseys? If so that's cool—just wanted to hear your thinking.

As far as the cap logo goes, the White Sox have generally gone back and forth between a "C" logo and a "Sox" logo on their caps throughout their history. I personally feel that cap monograms should always represent the city as opposed to the team name, which is why I went with a "C," but to each their own.

I do have to disagree with the point that it resembles the Cubs' cap logo, though. Yeah, they both use the same letter, but nobody would realistically confuse the two, much like nobody confuses the Mets' "NY" monogram with the Yankees'. I could see an argument that it's similar to the Tigers' cap, but the Sox currently use Old English lettering regardless, so it's a wash.

Ideally, I'd go back to the old mesh BP jerseys and caps. I've never been a huge fan of Majestic's templates, because even their best ones look tacky (and their worst are unspeakably hideous), and it adds even more boredom and predictability to a league whose aesthetics are already the dullest in pro sports.

It's a shame, because in my opinion, the BP jersey could be used as a way for traditional teams to get creative and for modern teams to sell at least one toned-down, traditional jersey to fans who prefer that kind of look.

BTW, I'm thinking of doing an MLB series like my NFL one from a couple months ago. Stay tuned!

Good job on ChiSox. I've always been a fan of the idea of them having a C monogram to represent their city. I will agree with mbannon, though, on saying they need to have some form of a "Sox" logo. That Rockies concept is TNT. No big complaints there.

I wasn't saying that your Sox "C" is similar to the Cubs "C". I was just referencing the fact that they're both Cs. Should have been clearer there. And I did some research, and other than 87-90 the Sox have used a "Sox" monogram on their hat every year since 1950. So I would say that's their "look", and it's okay to break the convention of city first initial on the hat.

Whatever you decide though, I do think you at least need a "Sox" monogram in the logo set.

The twins haven't had a navy jersey that says "twins" since 2013. They got rid of it along with the M hat

Sorry, I'm on an iPad

- Vikings colors, instead of boring red, navy and white

- New font, as the current one is dated

- Matching road wordmark

- Home Alt 2 based on the "twins shaking hands" logo (admittedly inspired by a Discrim concept, although I made my own updated version of the chest/sleeve logos)

- BP based on the bridge and river from that same logo

Royals: I'm not a fan of that crown sitting on top of the wordmarks like that, but it looks great on the bp hat.

Tigers: Good thinking, using the same font as the hat logo to make the wordmarks. Really unifies the brand.

Twins: I'm all for RWB teams using new color schemes to differentiate themselves better, I just don't feel that the Twins should be one of those cases, as much as I love purple and gold.

First things first - I've changed templates. The one I originally made was just too difficult to work with, especially for pinstriped teams. From now on I'm using a tweaked version of the Cool Base template that aawagner made. I will convert the teams I've already finished to the new template eventually, but for now, here's a couple new teams:

- "CUBS" logo relegated to tertiary status (I personally don't like it as a primary logo and feel like the C/bear logo is a stronger mark)

- Thick sleeve cuffs from the 1972-1993 home uniforms return and are also added to the road and alternate

- Brand new road wordmark

- Fauxback that slightly modernizes the beautiful 1941 home uniform that the Cubs threw back to last year

- BP based on the ivy at Wrigley

- Piping standardized across all regular uniforms, including the pinstriped homes. I thought it would be a nice homage to the racing-stripe era without being over-the-top.

- Script "New York" returns to road uniforms

- Alternates based off of the mid-2000s BP jerseys

- "Snow white" home alternate returns

- BP jersey based on the skyline in their primary logo
