I went with a blue instead of black because I wanted to do a Canadiens-inspired jersey, as someone pointed out. Something in the same range as Y2J's Rangers-esque jersey he once wore (it was to honor his dad who played for the NY Rangers). So I was definitely going for a tie-in, indeed. I went with navy blue somewhat because the red checkers would get lost on top of royal blue. And also because something darker would project the same vibe of his current attire, but with an added Habs tie-in. I do like the Sami Zayn design, just that the socks to me should have a dark stripe to accompany thinner white stripes instead of a single wide white stripe. Possibly having a checkerboard pattern in the underneath and above the red stripe. The Finn Balor would be a nice piece of merchandise to be sold at the events for WWE and NXT. The socks for the Demon if you drop the bottom stripe and extend the red to the base of where the white stripe is at now or all the way to the bottom of the sock to match the sleeves to me would work better.I have not watched NXT except for when the WWE brings out members to Raw or Smackdown. I just recently began to watch WWE again a few months ago and saw the ESPN E:60 piece they did on the NXT with wrestlers Xavier Woods and Adam Rose.
