TheLAKnight
Here's a view from Brooklyn:It reminds me of some of the seating at the Grand Garden Arena in Vegas when the Kings host Frozen Fury. It's barely passable for that and it's a once a year preseason game that really is just for the ambiance. It's flat out awful for 41 games in BKLYN. rxmc89
It's just like America West when the Coyotes played there. Seats in one end of the upper deck couldn't even see one of the goals so at that point you're only going to the games for the....ambiance? For the atmosphere and experience. At least Barclays Center has a big HD video board that people can watch the game on, something America West didn't have. Plus I think they're charging a lot less for those seats. cmm
I'm not sure if I believe it or not, but I've heard through the grapevine that an Islander employee who wasn't happy with the move was told to hang in there for three years because they might be moving back to Nassau after that. I don't know if this meant full time or for the 6-8 games a year they were planning to play at the renovated Coliseum. Or if it's just BS. If they succeed at drawing fans in Brooklyn, I have a hard time seeing them move back.It will all come down to whether or not if I move to the city and sell my car. If I do, the Isles will move and I will be screwed.

Almighty
Is this still the NHL thread for '15/'16? 3 on 3 OT has been fun, it's even more fun when they mandate it no matter what the score is for experimentation. Is it 3 on 3 OT this year ? Why not just have the 2 goalies on the ice, let them try to score, or even better: duke it out !
