Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

All of it: No.

I mean, were they trying to look as generic as possible? I guess it's not all lower case, so it could be more generic, but still. At least incorporate the crown in some way. Also, that font's pretty annoying.

Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop!

Awful awful move. Now I'm going to cringe whenever I drive past one of their signs.

I think they were trying to make it look modern but they ended up with "too modern"

At the very least they could have kept the original colors. Getting rid of the iconic red crown was utterly pathetic.

At least positioning the ugly font a little better might have helped slightly.

Of course, I've seen many a worse logo in my area.

For example.....

Looks like it was done in MSpaint.
