Pretty sure the new Twins red cap will be made from the Diamond Era BP material since those are now officially being advertised as alternates. I'd say get used to seeing pretty much every alternate cap in the BP material (as teams like the Mets are already doing anyway) in a few seasons.

According to Chris, Twins to reveal New Jersey tomorrow

New Jersey has been unveiled since 1787...

Never knew that I was living in "unveiled" territory

It was leaked on 1787 using pigeon post by a gentleman of name Christoph Cremer to the local gazette called Regalia Observant. But the official unveiling will be tomorrow at Twins Fest. So consider yourself lucky you could be living on a dumpster if not for them.

Just read a rumor on New Era Cap Talk that the following teams will be getting new hats for next season: Astros, Brewers, Mets, Pirates, and Twins. I assume this means game caps, as we already know there will be an entire line of new BP caps.

Brewers? First I've heard that rumor. Interesting, but don't like the idea. Their alt cap is already perfect, and I don't want them to introduce another alt based on their main uniform set since I want their main uniform set gone.

Unless it's this beauty

Haha. Nice.

Does anyone know if the National League requires the player's name to be on the back of the road jersey? I recently read that somewhere, but the fact that the Dodgers' uniforms were all no-NOB in 2005 and 2006 would seem to contradict it.

Probably another alternate to replace one of their already existing alts - camo is probably gone. Glad I picked up the BP and road alt hats with WS patch for $10 each at Modells the past few days. (Also picked up the 2014 Memorial Day Mets hat and their regular hat with WS patch.)

Or could it be a Diamond Era version of their regular hat?

Has anyone heard when these new BP/Spring Training caps will be announced?

Next month.

New Batting Practice jerseys also coming out this year for all teams or just the new BP caps?

It should only be new caps. The caps & jerseys have been on different 3-year cycles. The current template was introduced for 2014, so new ones should be coming in 2017.

But that's only if Majestic sticks to form.

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!

I don't know. But I would like it if they made a NOB mandatory for all teams. Makes for a more unified look leaguewide. No NOB looks like an unlicensed early 90s video game to me.

I've always found teams that wear names on their backs, especially at home, to look cheap and amateurish. I guess it helps that it's done on three of the most iconic uniforms in the history of the sport.
