johnnysama
In MLB's long history, there have been many World Series uniform matchups that have happened, but more that have not. So. here's a few that I'd think would be good, some not so much, and others....... UGH.GOOD:Dodgers/Blue Jays: SO. MUCH. BLUE. GOODNESS.Mariners/Mets: A modern classic meets a, well, regular classic.Red Sox/Phillies: So much red here, the Cardinals would be jealous.BAD:Rockies/Rays: Purple and navy blue. YIKES.Royals/Padres: Too aesthetically drab of a matchup.Diamondbacks/Astros: Would burn a lot of retinas.I can't think of any UGLY ones.
ConcreteCharlie
Currently, Yankees-Dodgers would be number
Quillz
I think Dodgers-Royals would be fun if only because more casual observers would be wondering why the same team is on both sides of the field.
Jungle Jim
johnny, you started this same thread last year at this time. Can we just tag onto that one?

Lumbergh
The Mariners would have to get to the World Series first...Can't believe they are the only team in the MLB with 0 WS appearances...but to play along:Good match-up I wanna see: White Sox v. Cubs ( would be a great Chi-Town series and the contrast between the two teams would be awesome.)Bad match-up I don't wanna see: Orioles v. Giants ( self explanatory, only cool thing would be the Halloween game if it even happened.) My favorite match-up of all-time that actually happened: 1997 Marlins v. Indians ( those sleeveless beauties that Florida wore were great, and the pre- block "C" Indians were great to see as well.)

AgentColon2
I think Dodgers-Royals would be fun if only because more casual observers would be wondering why the same team is on both sides of the field. This is my rooting interest. I want the lulz.
FinsUp1214
I've always thought Mariners/Mets would look great. Though both primarily navy or royal, the teal and orange trims would make for great contrast. A good classic one off the top of my head would be Braves/Tigers. If Atlanta keeps the navy alt out of it, that'd make for a stunning matchup. As far as the teams currently in the playoffs, any possibility would look great. It's hard to choose which ones would be best, but if I have to on a pure uniform standpoint, Astros/Cubs looks really good in my head (if both steer clear from alternates). Quillz
Okay, I know it's not a World Series match-up, but I just want to say Blue Jays-Royals is going to a beautiful ALCS. Both teams have the best uniforms they've ever had. In fact, the uniforms will look almost identical to what they wore in the 1985 ALCS (at least at a quick glance). 2001mark
Unpopular shoutout... for some reason I loved this matchup...I guess because it's probably been the simplest matchup since forever.(I can't find many small images)Blue Jays - Braves '92 was nice.Athletics - Dodgers '89 was amazing.Red Sox - Mets '86 looked good. @2001mark
johnnysama
^ The same could be said of Blue Jays/Phillies in 1993 as well; blue and red, nice contrast in colors there.

WavePunter
For a more modern/colorful series, I think Orioles/Pirates could look great if they avoid wearing black at the same time.. Those are two teams I don't really ever mind wearing colored jerseys, and they both have great standard whites/greys as well
SilverBullet1929
I'm ready for the Miami Marlins v Astros World Series in a couple seasons to really make these boards explode. Marlins v Rays might make the planet explode too.
CDixonDesign
Red Sox / Cardinals in 2004, and 2013.
FinsUp1214
I think Rays/Phillies in '08 would've been really nice had the Rays not rebranded. Green-Black-Blue trim vs. Red? Yes please. As it was though, it was on the low end of "okay". The Phillies really carried that matchup as high as they could.
