Sec19Row53
http://spokanefootball.com/news/?article_id=1680The Spokane Empire, featuring gray, orange and black. I like the logo package, although I dislike the standalone spike - not sure how it will be used. It's where I sit.

sc49erfan15
The team’s logos, created by Graphic Designer Brian GundellCreated by a CCSLC member!Maybe a little too detailed, but I'm a fan.It doesn't mention it in the article (presumably for copyright reasons?), but the Amtrak route serving the PNW, connecting Seattle to Chicago and Portland to Chicago (the two trains meet and connect in Spokane) is called the Empire Builder. I've taken the Portland-Spokane route - beautiful trip along the Columbia.
Brian in Boston
Wonderful work by Brian Gundell... though I must admit that I was hoping for a primary mark that depicted Terrence Howard completing a pass to Taraji P. Henson. Who knows, that might have landed the team a broadcast deal with the local FOX affiliate, KAYU-TV. After all, modern pro sports is all about maximizing corporate synergy. The mascot(s) can still be lions named Lucious and Cookie.
Sportscenter
This is a great logo package. And to be done by a fellow member is cool.

gordie_delini
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised this got picked up by you guys — thanks for the kind words! I'm really proud to have worked on this project, it's a fantastic organization and a great group of people I was fortunate enough to work with. The standalone spike was something the team asked me to include as part of the package, and realistically it will probably live as just a design element somewhere along the way. The team is really focusing on the Primary and Secondary logos as the main brand pieces. Stay tuned for more to come from the Empire!
martymcfry
At least someone has enough sense to use one of the CCSLC's designers. To much of what we see today looks like it was designed by someone pulled off the streets.
MJWalker45
Did Dennison State influence the colirs? Or are those local influences?
gordie_delini
The colors were chosen by the team, that's what they asked for.
MJWalker45
OK. Still looks pretty good and I wonder how the uniforms will turn out since they aren't confined to Russell Athletic.
Needschat
This franchise is trolling the city of Schenectady NY. The city is known as the "Electric City," at one time had the motto, "The City That Lights and Hauls The World," because of General Electric and American Locomotive. First, the team is called the Shock, now has an ALCO steam engine as the logo. Mon Dieu! /sarcasm Love the choo-choo Oh what could have been.... KittSmith_95
*cough* https://twitter.com/SpokaneEmpire/status/677876717738835968One of those cases where side panels don't look bad and add to the design. Sure, it'd look better w/o, but they're still good jerseys with them. Heck, I'd love to see this jersey in Broncos colours now.

dgnmrwrw
Like the logo, and the inspiration behind it, but definitely think it works better when it's a bit more simple, with fewer elements. dcameronh
They have a nice inaugural logo as well. Although I would have like to see the nail take the place of the 1 in 2016.
