Also the mountain is superior because its more "Utahish". That music note logo is more "jazzish" and we are talking about a state that doesn't even have one jazz club in it. The sleeve alts are stupid to begin with because sleeves and when I first saw them appear on my twitter timeline I thought it was one of those NBA Teams Designed as Soccer Jerseys mockups. JPDesign Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 Those uniforms are atrocious. The striping on the main three uniforms is bad, but I can live with it. But I think their traditional striping was obviously better. What really bothers me is the two "Jazz" word marks not having "Utah" above it, and the green uniform ditching the Jazz altogether. They should've gone with the "Utah Jazz" logo on the chest of all three sets. The green one in particular looks like the most generic basketball uniform I've ever seen. At least incorporate the music note logo onto the shorts if you're going to strip away all personality. Instead, you have a multicolored basketball on the waistband. The tricolor basketball does not work at all as a branding element, separate from the full music note logo. It takes something unique and own able by the Jazz in the music note icon, and turns it into generic basketball clipart with the solo tricolor ball. And then there's the alternate. The design is actually cool...if these were warmups. If the NBA were going back to custom warmups for each team instead of Adidas templated mess I'd be psyched. I agree JAZZ with utah above it should have been on every uniform. That sleeved uniform is great, and it has the look of something a fan would wear. It looks like a soccer uniform and that's what i expected ever since Adidas said they were doing sleeved uniforms, but failed to execute on til now. The one thing that bothers me with the alternate pride uniform is the 2 logos. Should have made the logo on the shorts just the ball or the JAZZ wordmark. 2 of the same on the chest and shorts really bothers me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure why there's so many complaints about not having Utah above the Jazz wordmarks - they didn't do that with their last set. And the sleeved alt is a great homage to the old warmups, and more than just a regular jersey with sleeves tacked on. The sleeved alt is ok because it's so different, but the new striping pattern on the other uniforms is just terrible. Those Kings style slanty "66 degree stripes which represents the angle in which Avalanches occur in the mountains above Provo" or whatever are garbage. They should've just kept what they already had with the home, road, and green alt. This entire package is a really big downgrade IMO.
