With him also getting the NBC TNF package, they're definitely grooming him to take over for Al Michaels when he's ready to step away. Edit: I just saw a blurb via Clay Travis' Twitter that reportedly Brad Nessler may also be on his way out of Bristol, going to CBS to call NFL and college basketball games, and may end up being Verne Lundquist's heir apparent to the SEC football play-by-play chair.
