Beat St. Louis, beat Minnesota, lose to Anaheim.

Not only do I think the Stars lose to the Wild, I want them to. Stars fans have gotten far too mouthy for a team that hasn't won a series since George W. Bush was president.

Where?  People I know are excited about having a real contender.

Making it from the CCSLC to the second round of the Stanley Cup? That is a poster to watch!

I did it with my totally care free attitude, and not giving a f___ if I won or lost, and not caring if the other team scored

Last year I only got one series wrong (CGY/VAN) and ended up with a boatload of $$$, but I watched a lot fewer games this year so not sure how this will go. I'm picking:

FLA

TBL

WAS

PIT

DAL

CHI

ANA

LA

FLA

WAS

CHI

LA

WAS

LA

LA wins the Cup.

So are the Perds gonna go out of their way to keep Californians from buying tickets to their games, or do they save that special love for us?

Unfortunately for the Predators, a policy of Keep The Black Out has been illegal since 1964.

the worst helmets design to me is the Jacksonville jaguars hamlets from 1995 to 2012 because you can't see the logo vary wall

See, in Minnesota, they won't tell Dallas fans they're not welcome at the game, they'll just sigh, look around uncomfortably, and say "no, no, it's fine, sit down" until you finally read the room and go back home to your slapdash tumbleweed-bumping McMansion.

My picks. Don't let me down, Washington.

That is by far the coolest bracket design I've seen this year. Is this your work?

I was thinking the exact same thing. It would be cool if he could somehow turn that into a website where you select the team and those awesome minimalistic designs pop out.

That is absolutely ridiculous. I understand wanting a home arena advantage, but my goodness is that petty and stupid.

Nashville and Tampa Bay did it last year. Anaheim, to their credit, did not. Whether it's blacks, gays, or northerners who like hockey, the former Confederacy is always discriminating against paying customers. There, do a Jumbotron joke about that, slapdicks.

It's especially galling coming from this team, where road fans were keeping Stars games from looking like bomb scares for the past six years.

Please please please let this be the year we get something different in the West:

1. No CHI-MIN 2nd round series.

2. Someone else repping the West in the Cup Finals

And for those of you who want the Wild to beat Dallas so badly- be careful what you wish for. CHI/MIN 2nd round playoff series are as stale as the million or so Capitals/Rangers playoff series.

Do you REALLY want to see the Wild fall their way up into another playoff win where they don't make necessary changes and stay with their stale status quo?

I hope for something different, but I fear the inevitably predictable happens again.

I am of the mind that a fanbase that can't be arsed to show up for the marquee regular-season game they've demanded for half a decade because it happens to fall on the weekend of high school regionals deserves to have its collective dick kicked in by the team that left town because the same fanbase couldn't be arsed to show up for them, either.

Be careful what you wish for. How many damn times do we have to see the Wild lose to Chicago in the playoffs? The Wild keep prolonging inevitable changes with these early round teaser wins that make us think things are different.

Hot Take- MIN would be better off losing to DAL and forcing major changes than another CHI sweep and they stay the same because they keep getting to the second round and are stuck in limbo.

I don't know if someone has brought this up but in regards to the Islanders and Panthers. One of these 2 will finally be getting laid again after so many eons. The Islanders haven't won a playoff round in almost a quarter of a century while the Panthers haven't won a playoff round in 20 years when they were still playing in the old rat infested Miami Arena.

The Catch of the Day!
