That would at the very least be an interesting set.

Paul Lucas
Now, if someone could give this a dropshadow, the Padres could embrace their inner St. Louis Browns ...and pay homage to one of my favorite uniforms:

Absolutely! This would be a great compromise. This concept proves it can work.
Carolingian Steamroller
Worked up a quick Spring Training/Hot weather alternate to go with my revised black/white Chi Sox concept. Since the Sox seem intent on using the 83 logo for something, might as well apply it as a contrasting alternate in the vein NHL teams use old logos for fauxback alts. coco1997
Looks great. I miss the red "hands" on the batterman, though.

I switched the colors on the script and the piping from the brown concept. There's precedent for the Padres using yellow as the primary script color. This one's my favorite. My only suggestions are to change the road font to brown outlined with yellow and to use the two color SD on the alt jersey. Other than that, this is something I could really get behind. Carolingian Steamroller
While I get through creating my next series I'm also tinkering with my original one. I've decided to update the Rays to use green. To distinguish from the A's, I've downgraded the use of yellow so it's mostly green and powder blue. I've also switched the numbers to a drop shadow on home and away uniforms so it match the scripts.
