I don't think you should move The Stallions. Birmingham is small market, but it's utterly football mad. An update of the color scheme would be a good idea though.

During the Cardinals' 28-year stay in St. Louis, they advanced to the playoffs just three times (1974, 1975 & 1982), never hosting or winning in any appearance. The overall mediocrity of the Cardinals, combined with a then-21-year-old stadium, caused game attendance to dwindle, and owner Bill Bidwill decided to move the team to Florida.

Not long after the 1987 NFL season, Bidwill agreed to move the Cardinals to Jacksonville on a handshake deal with state and local officials, and the team became the Jacksonville Cardinals. They will retain the Cardinals name and identity while remaining in the NFC West division.

In 1989 the Jacksonville flag was added to the sleeve of the white uniform.

In 1994 the Cardinals are renamed the Florida Cardinals

The flag patch on the sleeve is changed to the Florida state flag and a slight modification is done to the uniforms in 1996

Are you going to realign the divisions due to the move?

It will be difficult to decide based on divisional rivalries in the East and Central. In the Southeast the western-most team is New Orleans, which would be the most likely move since they were originally in the NFC West.

Swapping New Orleans and Jacksonville makes sense.

The Cardinals have no old divisional rivals in either division. But they would have two instant regional rivals with Atlanta and Tampa Bay.

The Saints have one in the Southeast with Atlanta and two in the Southwest with the Rams and the 49ers.

During the owners meeting prior to the 1989 season a vote passed to have Jacksonville and New Orleans swap divisions. Beginning in the 1990 season, New Orleans will return to the NFC West and Jacksonville will move to the NFC Southeast division. The move will renew a division rivalry for the Saints with the 49ers and Rams.

Can't wait for the rest of the seasons. Are my Packers good in the 90s like in real life?
