Like I said, I don't think there's really much interest, from investors or locals. Much of the city is pretty into BYU's sports programs. With so many larger families, smaller teams are more of a draw. They have AAA baseball and ECHL hockey, on top of UU and the Jazz. Salt Lake City might get consideration when the time comes for the Jazz to get a new arena...if they build with the NHL in mind, but almost certainly not before then.

A place called the Maverik Center about 20 mins out of Salt Lake City. It's a decent size and games are fun but no where close to what they need to host an NHL team.

An interesting  but I might  do slc  and Seattle  if nobody is interested  in  those two cities
