More off-season news:

Rest assured, Ottawa CFL fans. Your team is coming back in the 1999 season as part of the CFL's great expansion. The CFL will be expanding by 6 teams, 2 Canadian and 4 American. We've already got Ottawa coming back, so here are planned cities for the other Canadian team:

Halifax, NS

Quebec City, QC

Toronto, ON

Windsor, ON

Meanwhile in the States, potential cities for American expansion were announced:

Columbus, OH

Las Vegas, NV

Milwaukee, WI

Oklahoma City, OK

Portland, OR

Sacramento, CA

Salt Lake City, UT

Shreveport, LA

I feel that the city can (PROBABLY) support 2 teams.

84th Grey Cup ("The Snow Bowl")

Edmonton 32

(30 seasons before, the NFL had another green/gold team facing a Texan team in REALLY cold weather.)

I hate to be a sourpuss, but in the North Division semifinals, you had the Alouettes defeat the Stampeders 37-23. So the Als should play the Eskimos in the Final (and beat them, too).

1998 Offseason News

It's voting time! The CFL will be expanding by 6 teams in the 1999 season (2 Canadian, 4 American) and you will get to vote for 1 Canadian city and 4 American cities that you would think would land CFL franchises. Here's an example vote:

I will vote for:

Halifax

Columbus

Las Vegas

Oklahoma City

Portland

Voting begins now, and will end this Friday!

Just for reference, here's the city list:

Canada:

Halifax, NS

Quebec City, QC

Toronto, ON

Windsor, ON

America:

Columbus, OH

Las Vegas, NV

Milwaukee, WI

Oklahoma City, OK

Portland, OR

Sacramento, CA

Salt Lake City, UT

Shreveport, LA
