Now there's a nice touch & logo. I think that if this was done with better execution and allowed teams to be creative with it & not all use the same template, I'd like this more. That being said, it's not all bad. Some of these with a few tweak would make nice alternate jerseys. I wish every player had played along the nicknames premise though... seeing a bunch of nicknames & then "Smith" on the back of one guys jersey. It looks out of place. MJD7
Big disappointment for me is the Twins hat, I actually liked the Minnie & Paul logo in the original mockup much better, given the circumstances. Other than that... I don't hate these as much as I feel I should... At least half of them are actually pretty decent options, most notably the Reds, Rockies, Pirates, A's, Rays, and Rangers. The Padres look better too just because they added yellow back. Although this probably wasn't the best way to execute it, I do like that the MLB is at least trying to spruce things up color-wise. The evolution logo is also a cool touch.

Marlins: Intriguing color scheme. I like the jersey's colors...but even with the current look; more blue, less black. Padres: Hey some color...reminds me of your blue/yellow teaser from last year. A's: I really like that hat. I don't want it on the field, but it would make a nice fashion cap. Phillies: Maybe that would be a suitable BP cap. The worst of the worse are the Reds and most of the gray ones. Some of them like the Pirates, Twins, and Blue Jays are as good as most of the fashion jerseys I see. But the grey ones and the ones that lighten the color too much are not even suitable fashion jerseys. And seeing the jersey the Yankees are going to wear on the field makes me feel like we traditionalists are pretty much on the ropes. EDIT: Have some of these hats changed. I don't recall the white "C" for Cleveland and I thought the Twins were using Minny and Paul. I also have no recollection of that red White Sox hat, which reminds me very much of Cleveland. Yeah @Bmac noted that some designs changed from the original mockup. The Dbacks hat was originally purple; the Nats hat had that beveled star on it, etc. I think the Marlins look the best. For the worst: Any team that uses light blue in the hat but then dark navy in the jersey. That looks terrible. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. VDizzle12
I really like most of the jerseys, except for the Nationals. The black doesn't make any sense. As for the hats though...most are pretty bad. I don't understand the reasoning behind using bright blue for every team instead of navy.

8BW14
They are all really bad. That's pretty obvious to me, but I really hate the uniforms where the caps are lighter than the main color of the jersey. It never looks good, also I hope the light blue matches better between the caps and jerseys in real life than it does in the mockups, but I'm not holding my breath. The grey, cream and white jerseys are least offensive though, still unnecessarily stupid and silly, but mildly attractive. As fashion jerseys and caps, these would still be ugly, but inconsequential, at least because we would never have to see them on the field. Long story short, this promotion is stupid and the uniforms are ugly.

coco1997
I actually like a good number of these, but dear God the Seattle one is unsightly. What are there, two or three different shades of blue and green/teal each?

OnWis97
The Twins have a handful of players just using their last names. Unfortunately, Colon is not "Big Sexy." For some reason he's "Morales." Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." FightingGoldenDevil
Most of you guys need to get the stick out of your butts. This is just a fun thing that players have been asking about for a long time. Just because the team will profit off of it doesn't mean it's about money. The uniforms were purposely designed like they are to convey that's it's layed back and not that serious. As a teenager that likes baseball this is a nice change of pace and my friends all love it. Do baseball really need garish jerseys and caps worn once a year to be "fun"? Having the players being friendlier to the kids attending or even visiting little league fields/schools more would be a step in the right direction. I remember being allowed to lay down on the dugout before games chatting with the guys, getting a boatload of autographs every single game I attended, this was pure fun and I didn't care that my team wore their regular uniforms... SilverBullet1929
I don't actually believe that the players wanted this. Most players actually hated the uniform rebrands of the Marlins and DBacks and they're trying to convince us that the players wanted this? I'm not buying that. Outside of a handful I'd be shocked if the majority of players don't actually prefer just playing in the classic uniforms they grew up watching as kids. SilverBullet1929
Also I'm starting to be convinced that the Little League weekend thing doesn't exist outside of that one game the Pirates and somebody else are playing in. Someone saw these players weekend caps and jerseys and mistakenly called them Little Legaue uniforms confusing it with the Pirates game.
ZipperClub
Trying to figure out how Jose Ramirez couldn't get Mini Me due to copyrights, but CJ Edwards got Carl's Jr. cleared. Gonna estimate 90% of the American players just have an 's' or 'er' appended to the first syllable. No creativity at all.
