Points are related to the position you end up after voting finishes, not the amount of points you scored for a particular event. Points are given to the top 15 for each event, following this pattern: 20-18-16-14-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. You finished event 5 in 19th position, meaning you received 0 points for event 5. So you're still at 9 points, in 22nd position.
