Better than this year's NFL draft hats, but that's not saying much. New Era really has a hard-on for the chrome and oversized logos, apparently. Oh well, they still could've been much worse (and probably will be in years to come).

Are those brims velour?

There's no reason the main caps shouldn't be 3930s...you know a nice clean fitting hat that anyone can wear.  The high crown stuff looks completely ridiculous on most people.

They give the draftees options. For example, in this past NFL draft draftees were given options to wear 59Fifties, 39Thirties, and 59Fifty Low Profiles.

I get the feeling that you just dislike 59Fifties, which is completely fine, but the majority of draftees in both the NFL and NBA prefer them. And honestly, I see people walk around in high-brim caps all the time and I think it suits them well.

College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here

I look like a dorky suburban dad wearing a 39thirty, so to each their own. After years of busy, overly detailed Adidas hats I'm happy to see New Era's (mostly) clean design sense take over. That said, this mix of diamond era mesh crown and velour brim is a nasty textural clash.

Okay??? Are you suggesting this as a possible fix for their new logo or what? If you are, I'd say that's significantly worse than what they just unveiled. Also, there's a thread dedicated to the Pistons' new logo, so you probably should've posted it there (or even in the concepts forum if that's what this is intended to be).

The ball in the new Pistons Logo looks weird.

It's because it's a strange angle to show a basketball. There's a reason most other logos do sort of a diagonal perspective of the basketball, the lines appear more "correct" to the eye.

Anybody else we waiting for to reveal their new logo??

Cavs for sure, though their new logos and wordmarks likely won't be unveiled until mid-to-late June or possibly even early July. Of the other teams that are either rumored or confirmed to be making changes, I'm not sure which, if any, will be making changes to their logos. The Clippers definitely aren't though, as they're just changing the uniforms.

Pacers? Unless there's only the alternate logo that came out already. I remember there was going to be a surprise team with changes next season, but not sure if it was logo, uniform or both.

So far we have: Cavs, Pacers, Clippers, Wolves and Blazers confirmed to get new uniforms. I recall hearing something about the Suns too at one point. Let's not forget all the jersey ads and a supposed new template for all NBA jerseys. Things are going to get interesting.

Cavs are really milking what's left of the Lebron era, eh?

I cant ever remember a team that's been a year after year contender/defending champs that has changed their logo + jersey and wordmarks in midst of it.

Rockets did it but it was preplanned and they couldn't stop it. Also, this is a special situation where Nike's taking over for Adidas. Can't remember if any teams did it when Champion took over, when Nike and Starter and Puma joined the fold, and again when Reebok took over.

I think the Suns were just going to make a few tweaks.  Not sure what that may mean, but removing the butt stripe from the shorts would be a good start.

The Washington Wizards are also tweaking some aspects of their home and away jerseys. There's also a chance they might introduce a new secondary logo or replace the primary logo. ( According to some season ticket representatives).
