Good defensive game going into the half. A lot of blocks (two by Collins).

45-36 is defensive?

In terms of pace, this is the best early game in a while.

UConn's women's team finally lost.  Mississippi State vs South Carolina for the title, who would have thought?

Yeah screw women and their stupid sports. Breaking a 100+ game winning streak isn't impressive in the slightest.

Dudes seem to be able to shoot inside UofPx Stadium.

But I hope that the next 24-48 hours doesn't allow this to come back.

Pair it with "Co-Ed Naked..." and I'm going to allow it.

Congrats Zags. Good luck Ducks. #PNW

Like in the Carrier Dome, right?

The Final Four in an arena would be an exclusive mess since the majority of tickets would be in the hands of athletic departments.

Carrier Dome and the old Alamo Dome are excepted because they cut the stadium in half (or a third).

It seems like last and this year look weird and different compared to previous years.

Here's the 2003 final (to pick a random year):

It's in a dome, but still looks normal. Is it because the players aren't on a platform?  Why does this Oregon/UNC game look so weird?

They used to put the basketball courts on one end zone of the domed stadia, then place temporary bleachers on one side of the court and use the rest of the permanent seats on that half of the venue as the rest of the capacity.

Then someone had the idea of "Well, if we can sell 70,000 seats, let's just put the center court timeline on the 50-yard line", and they've been going with that model ever since.  When I went to the open practice when the last Final Four was in Atlanta, it looked weird as hell to see the court in the middle.  And the views aren't that great, even in the lower level.

Ford Field in '09 started the NCAA's own stadium system.

This stadium is too long.

CBS sports basketball podcast talked about how this was odd in terms of seats

Man gotta pull down one of those rebounds if your Oregon. No excuses for it to happen twice.

Lol three out of four Final Four teams were fresh, and we're STILL gonna end up with the status quo winning it all. NC is gonna blow the doors off of Gonzaga.

UNC will NOT blow out the Zags.

Gonzaga can match them in terms of size and can play offense/defense with more balance.

North Carolina is going to win. 2017 is going to be that kind of year...

Patriots

Clemson (one win for the little guys!)

North Carolina

Penguins

Warriors

Red Sox

Galaxy

Hopefully, I am going to remember this post at the end of the year to see how I did!

Galaxy can't even win a game. Red Sox should win but I don't think it'll happen. If they change the layout at Alamodome they'll have to move that scoreboatd though I believe it's supposed to be replaced during the upgrades. This is the sideline it sits above now.20170318_134554.thumb.jpg.aa19fabe4167412926e945d6affe0315.jpg
