More Spurs...

I hate that the sponsor logo on the home shirt continues to be red.

(But I'm OK with it if it means keeping the team together.)

I hate the shield and absolute blandness of the shirts. They look like they were just picked from a catalog and color-filled to match the team's colors. WHY couldn't Spurs have stayed with UA????! (I know...$$$)

AIA might be the best sponsor out there. its so simple and looks pretty good. Yes, im disappointed as a spurs fan that these are a bit bland, but hey, ill take them over the PSG monstrosity. Could be worse. Sometimes plain is better. SEE PENN STATE FOOTBALL. overall, ill take it. Beats the 2014-15 set for sure

Gold trim isn't a permanent feature for Tottenham. Last season was the only time it's been used on the home kit. Occasionally they go with yellow trim but more often than not it's just white and navy, so it's not surprising that Nike have gone with this.

I agree that the execution of the shield is poor. You can clearly see the difference in the background colour of the shield and the main colour of the shirt, which is what I think contributes most to the tacky look of it. Couple that with the bland, templated look then the end result isn't great at all. I don't think I will be buying one.

Mockup of the Dortmund third:

It'll supposedly be paired with white shorts and socks. Just like the white and yellow third kit they've had the past two seasons, this new one is probably unlikely to be used, or if it is, it'll be used extremely sparingly.

La Casaca posted some predictions of Adidas' World Cup kits, based on leaked images (Mexico) and leaked descriptions of color schemes, design features, possible inspirations, etc. They included somewhat of an accuracy meter which gives an approximation of how accurate each prediction mockup is. The font they used on all of the kits is indeed what Adidas will use for their World Cup kits, so that part is definitely accurate.

They took more liberty on some of the kits than others, and they based the template and collar styles on the leaked images of the Mexico kits, so there could very possibly be some more iterations of the template than what they used. As far as the designs go, all of the leaked information so far has indicated that Adidas' 2018 World Cup range will largely take inspiration from retro kits and design ideas (specifically from the '90's), so these mockups should at least be on the right track for a lot of the kits.

A lot of retro vibes from these kits, pretty good looking sets!

JFC, you don't need to quote all the pictures to add your post.

That's a shame. I quite liked that look.
