I think they do that in case the nameplate they provide doesn't match the jersey material, but I haven't really run into that issue yet. I've also ordered several baseball kits and those usually don't come with nameplates. I have a few more I've gotten from them. I'll post those here in a bit. EDIT: These are the hockey jerseys I've done using these kits. Glacier twill or regular twill? Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. Yes indeed. The Avs used it starting in their first year (and I think they still use it), and the Penguins use it too. You did a good job with your jerseys. Smart is believing half of what you hear. I love this style! Edit: found a picture... Beautiful! I have the complete set of these. I bought 27 of the 28 on ebay for $90. I had 1 when I was a kid. I have all 28 of the huddles from 1983 and have 22 of the 1987-88 sears xmas catolog beanies. This pic is a few years old so I didn't have 22 beanies yet. I have 28 80s jerseys and the early jerseys of the 4 newer teams. I alternate those w/ the current(2016) jerseys every other year.

They had dozens of pennants hanging from the ceiling, mostly 80's style fonts and logos. Then, the guy pulls out a pile from behind the counter. I managed to snag a Houston Oilers, Atlanta Falcons (red helmet), Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Hawks (original Pac-man). $5 a pop. I would've grabbed waaay more but they only took cash and I only had 20 on me at the time. Needless to say I'll probably drop one day this week with more cash. They had some gold. Tampa Bay Bucs' Bucco Bruce, Phoenix Cardinals, original L.A. Rams, California Angels just to name a few. I got them all from pennant guru on ebay. He had more. ElwoodCuse
That Sharks font is close but no cigar. Honestly, all of them look better than fakes but they still aren't 100% legit either.

Minor inconsistencies like that are worth the price difference to me, and I haven't really found a better way to get just the letter kits for blank jerseys that are as accurate. Plus, there are a LOT of different options. Just about any NHL jersey you can think of they can do at least close enough to be passable On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) No 27 for $90 total w/ shipping. He couldn't believe I wanted all of them, minus the Eagles that I had when I was a kid. He even gave me the white mask option on the vikings and the blue mask option on the bills. He didn't want to include the cowboys, pats, and giants b/c of minor flaws. I said so what I'll take them too so he threw them in for free.

tigerslionspistonshabs
Came across a blue flying eagle Capitals jersey, but it was in rough shape, not my size and $35. I also saw a jersey I couldn't identify. Had NFL tags. It was a light orange (similar to the Bucs creamsicles), but just white numbers with no outlines. If I'm not mistaken, the Bucs always had the red outline. I'm trying to think of teams that may have had orange alternates, but it was too light to be the Browns, Dolphins or Broncos. Number 31, Green was the name. Any ideas?

For those keeping score at home, that's an Orange jersey for a team called the Browns with the name "Green" on the back.
