Foxxtrot44
Logo dust up in Salt Lake, as the local private college changes its logo based on votes from...high school students. Near as I can tell, alumni hate both logos... From this to The new W logo is said to be based on the windows of the campus' first building; conveniently rendered in their original logo. It also appears that the new logo is one of the "skins" type of logos like TBS and Taco Bell are now using. I HATE THIS TIMELINE
Seadragon76
It is me or does the second logo look a lot like the old Warner Brothers logo from the 60's and 70's?
ZionEagle
The old logo has a lot of character and potential, it just needed a little clean-up perhaps. But man, that new logo is just pure and unadulterated garbage. "Winners never quit, and quitters never win." ~Vince Lombardi

It's definitely not just you...it's what immediately came to mind when I saw the new logo.
Cosmic
The old one could have used some tweaking (is the 8 trying to fly away from the other numbers?), but I really like it. The new one is very meh.
GFB
The new one is much better. It incorporates a similar shield shape to the original in the upper corner of the "W." Great design work.
