Secrets are hard to keep... Luckily, we don't have to wait much longer.

No more burgundy?

EDIT: Never mind... the screen I'm looking at made the jersey background and logo look navy. I thought they were switching to double blue at first glance.

Likin Colorado keeping the logo.

I might be the only one, but I actually like the pattern inside the Knights logo. As long as it doesn't become a regular thing for all teams, like some weird Adidas thing, then I'll be fine. It's subtle enough where it isn't a problem, and it kind of complements the logo.

It's telling a lot

- No royal blue for Buffalo

- Colorado isn't going with their alternate jersey and logo
- Edmonton navy blue

- Chest stripe for Minnesota

- Ottawa sticking with red

- Washington no logo change

Like was stated earlier, everyone's keeping their logos.

which is what makes this such a farce...Colorado is probably going to turn around and go with the C stuff next year...so, yeah !  We already know the Ducks and Senators are also going to go with alt. jerseys in 2018, so these are essentially placeholders for a half-dozen teams.

There's no point for wholesale changes to Colorado, Calgary (possibly), Anaheim, Ottawa, and Vancouver, ya know?

Thats kind of my feeling too, overall. Yes, we're seeing some things here and there, but we can't see sleeves, hems, yokes, numbers, or anything like that. There's still a lot left to be seen before we can really know what's going on.

Some of the color and logo rumors have been debunked...

The boards are dedicated to logo and uniform aesthetics. I'd be shocked if people here weren't scrutinizing every little piece of info.

Thunder Bay Lynx - International Hockey Association (2 seasons, 2017-18, 2019-20, 2018 Xtreme Cup Champions)Houston Armadillos - Major League Hockey (2 seasons, 2016-18) | Minnesota Muskies - North American Basketball Association (1 season, 2017-2018) | Louisville Thoroughbreds - United League of Baseball (1 season, 2017, 2017 United Cup Champions) | Las Vegas Thunderbirds - International Basketball League (1 season, 2016-17, 2017 Champions)

I remember when the Vikings and Dolphins' current uniforms were unveiled within weeks of each other. Both uniforms were on mannequins in the same Nike studio.

Anyway the Dolphins unveiled their look first. And a reflection of the sleeve on the Viking's jersey just off-camera got caught on a pane of glass that was in frame.

People here were trying to extrapolate an entire football jersey based off of a fuzzy reflection of half a sleeve stripe.

It's the most ridiculous I've ever seen this place get.

ANYWAY...

The scuttlebutt seems to be that the Ducks will switch to orange not next season but the season afterwards. For reasons.

So it could be that teams like Buffalo, Ottawa, and Colorado are following suit. After all. Why release one new jersey when you can release two? That's twice the money!

But, that doesn't mean that these teasers aren't telling us nothing. We know what the primary color of the home sweaters and primary crests are going to be. It's good news that Colorado is sticking with maroon and their logo, as is Las Vegas going with a slate/dark gray home sweater. Now, the Avs could very well be updating their awful Edge template (how it's lasted that long, I don't know) and the Knights could have something awful up their sleeves, I like what I see so far, as minuscule as it is.

Changes are coming (according to CC) to Buffalo, Ottawa, and Colorado...so it won't be "same uniform this year...new unis coming next year."   Granted, these changes for 17-18 could be small and bigger changes coming in 18-19, but at least we know there will be some differences for these three teams for the upcoming season.
