I'm sure some journeyman has LeBron beat by a mile.

a journeyman would be the exact opposite of what this thread is asking about though.

also thank you for compiling all those lebron uniform pictures, saved me alot of time. I still think they wore more

I missed the one team aspect previously.

Anderson Varejao would also have a ton. Basically all of Brons minus this years Xmas jersey plus a couple Cavfanatics.

There's easily over 10 variants on fanatics alone, and that's just the jerseys in recent memory not counting the uniform style they wore when he first got drafted, or christmas jerseys or pride jerseys or whatever else the NBA makes players parade around in. It's literally a joke

Those are alts, not changes. They made one uniform change to the brand after he left for Miami.

Whatever, either way the Cavs change their jersey designs like I change my socks

Luc Robitaille had plenty of colour variety while playing for the Kings

Purple/Gold 1986-88
Gretzky Era 1988-1998

Purple/Black Shield 1998-01

Purple/Black Crown 2003-06

But I think Trevor Linden wins for most radical redesigns with the Canucks:

Yellow/Black skate jersey 1988-89

White/Black skate jersey 1989-1997

Navy/Burgundy Orca 1997-98, 2001-03

Navy/Burgundy Orca w/shoulder patch 2003-07

Blue/Green Edge jersey 2007-08

Most uniform changes in the fewest seasons: Zigmund Palffy: 6 seasons with the Islanders, 4 uniform changes

Cup jerseys 1993-95

Fishsticks 1995-97

Islanders logo on wave jersey 1997-98

Navy/Orange 1998-99

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

Drew Bledsoe came to mind for me, though it's somewhat less impressive looking than the above ice men...

1993: home blue (red numbers w/white OL on torso, white shoulder numbers/name), road white (red numbers w/ floating blue OL on torso, blue shoulder numbers/name), silver pants w/stripe based on Flying Elvis logo; logo on each sleeve

1994: all numbers on blue jersey now white w/ red OL; torso numbers' outline on white jersey no longer floating; new pants; facemask changes from gray to red

1995-99: larger logo moved to shoulders; new number font, TV numbers moved to sleeves, shadow stripes on torso

2000-01: current uniforms

Trevor Linden with the Canucks.

1988-89: The Canucks still wore yellow at home.  It was the final year they would do so.

1989-92: The last version of the Skate logo jersey.

1992-95: The last version of the Skate logo jersey, with the orange trim becoming red.

1995-97: Salmon alternate.

1997-98: The first Orca jersey.

2001-03: Traded back to the Canucks in the middle of the first season of the new tie dye alternate.

2003-04: The Canucks are part of the vintage uniform program and wear both the home and away of the team's second version of the stick and rink design.  What the current set is based on.

2007-08: In his final year, the Canucks switch over to their current set.

4 different sets; 14 different jerseys.

I thought that we were counting uniform sets, not every variation.  If we're counting variations, then every guy who played with the Pirates for even a single season in the late 1970s and early 1980s tops the list.

And Reggie Jackson's total with the A's goes from 7 sets to 44 combinations -- 3 combinations for every set worn between 1967 and 1975, and then 2 combinations in 1987.  (Even this leaves out the rarely-worn green pants and yellow pants from the 1973-75 period.)

The A's had green pants?!
