WWE February PPVs: Elimination Chamber and Fastlane

664 posts in this topic

Time to hit that road running. Elimination Chamber is coming up for the blue brand.

On the RAW side, they are taking the FastLane to Orlando.

It's coming to whatever screen you're watching, or from the cheap seats in Phoenix or at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Lock your Superstars up and strap on your seat belts, the ride is on....

Elimination Chamber should still be called No Way Out.

That is all.

Isn't it called something else in Germany for obvious reasons?

Have there been any main-event impacting title changes at the PPV before WM (I guess Fastlane for the past few years)?  Everyone is anticipating at least one maybe two this year, but I'm not sure if there's precedent.

Fun fact: Both have been in Milwaukee at BMO Harris Bradley Center. no Way out in 2002 and Elimination Chamber in 2012. The same site of FastLane this year.

Also a few more fun facts about Bradley Center and WWE.  A little waxing nostalgic as this is probably going to be the last PPV there before the new arena opens....

The Mega Powers Meltdown on Saturday's Night Main Event.

From across the street at MECCA, the birth of Austin 3:16.

Back at 1001 N. Fourth, Austin 3:16 says "I just pissed my pants!"

2002: The nWo is in the WWF.

2004: Taboo Tuesday, we'll leave that there.

And many more memories.

Didn't Jericho win the WHC at the EC right before WB 26 in Phoenix.

Jokes are supposed to be funny

Quote

After more promotional videos, it was announced that Emmalina would debut on Raw on the December 12, 2016, episode of Raw. When those plans failed to materialize, WWE changed the tone of the promos. Emma(lina) began playfully thanking us for being patient, but the videos kept coming.

Into January, Emmalina had yet to appear despite WWE’s constant promotions of her upcoming return. However, there was no mention of her on Raw last Monday.

So what’s going on with her?

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer, WWE actually has no plans for Emma at this time.

On Twitter, a fan asked Meltzer what’s going on with Emma. He replied:

(too long to quote, but)

^ yeah, good joke WWE! I could almost understand if they had plans to bring her back and there was a setback, or change of plans or something. But this almost seems like they never really had plans for her and are just screwing around with us?

This may be one of the funniest things ever. I really hope it was intentionally funny.

Had Twitter been around 40 years ago then he and undertaker might still have a mother, and taker a father.

At least he's learned since then.

And Kane wouldn't have had to go thru years of grueling wrestling training, getting his burnt body stretched by old-timers, just to get revenge on Taker.
