This time around, I'm focusing on college football uniforms, and, just like my previous topic, these concepts were also done in Paint. The templates used here vary, depending on which fits the design. Credits to the Sports Font Database, as well as some previous CFB concepts made by the people of CCSLC, especially mbannon92. Some concepts will utilize their current uniforms and have a few tweaks, while some will be complete redesigns. Also, no Russell Athletic on this concept. I would like to know your comments and reactions from you. I added the sublimated tiger stripes on the shoulders for a little touch of "modernization" on one of the all-time classics. These, however, are absolutely fantastic! I really love your BC uniform and the striping constistency gets me all giddy?. I love the Clemson uniform, too, but I think that if you're going to have the sublimated tiger motif, maybe carry it somewhere else throughout the uniform, because otherwise it looks out of place IMO. Actually, I have been using Photoshop and Illustrator for quite some time, and I might consider using those for my next concepts, but I still love using Paint. For the black alternate, I made "The Ville" the wordmark, and the numbers are now white with red outline (same as "The Ville"). I also made new black alternates which follow the same style as the red and white uniforms, and is a huge departure from their current black uniforms. Only one helmet will be used for each set, because, for much of its history, 'Cuse uses orange helmets. Then, the news came out, as Adidas will be replacing Russell Athletic as the sportswear provider for the Yellow Jackets. Honeycomb patterns take over this concept uniform set. I also brought back their green and orange helmets from their Nike days, and I also created a hurricane grey uniform inspired from their "Smoke" uniforms. edjb93 Posted March 11, 2017 Author Share Posted March 11, 2017 NORTH CAROLINA All parts of the uniform (except the socks, of course) have the same striping and argyle pattern. Originally, Nike is the outfitter, but after the recent news coming from Michael Jordan himself, this set is now a Jordan Brand concept. I also added a navy uniform, because navy makes sense than black as an alternate color. edjb93 Posted March 11, 2017 Author Share Posted March 11, 2017 PITTSBURGH I think that Pitt's uniform redesign is great, but the lack of striping on the pants somehow made the redesign incomplete. And so, for my Pitt concept set, pants have the striping. Also, I eliminated the double trim on the numbers. Gold uniforms return as well. It looks very generic, but, I think, this set will suit the Cavs really well.
