My sports related wish:

To see the Hampton Roads Rhinos prototype jerseys in any capacity, as I believe they got that far if a logo was made & shown off by the NHL as well as some memorabilia being made. Not sure though. But still.

The Memphis Grizzlies, at least one time, bring back the original Grizz jerseys from The Pyramid

My changes for my favorite teams

Penguins- Bring back robo-penguin as a shoulder patch

Cavs- Use current color scheme on 2003-2010 uniforms

Indians-Put an outline on the block C

Panthers(NFL)- Wear the black pants during one regular season game or more

I know it says only one, but I couldn't resist!!

The banning of all faux-shoulder yoke piping on any hockey jersey... It ruins good jerseys like the Wild's home sweaters, or the Ducks home jerseys...

For Cleveland teams, I would want to see the Cavaliers look like a basketball team instead of looking like a soccer team with a hockey jersey-sized crest. Ditch the navy and make the wine red the primary darks.

I agree.  This version of wine and gold is fantastic.  I'm fine having navy just showing up in logos... Just not on the uniforms.  I also wish they would remove the yellow from the white jersey so its just white and wine.

Other than that, I wouldn't do too much more with the uniforms.  Maybe add a basketball in the C-sword logo?

Given that I watch this team more often than any others I'd wish for the Reds to wear this until the end of time

I much prefer the version without the white outline.

The white outline seems to make the wordmark too "loud" visually.  Without the white, the red letters fit better with the jersey's sedate aesthetic.

Well I'd outline everything in white so it's consistent and I think it looks more professional, but we've been down this road a million times. I like a white outline on gray baseball shirts. SORRY!

They're both good, and I'd take either of them. I'd also be fine with the current set minus the black trim.

I like a white outline sometimes, too.  For example, with the Yankees, where this:

...is a lot better than this:

But not, for example, with the Dodgers, where this:

...is better than this:

So I suppose it's case by case. I group the Reds in with the Dodgers on this score.

That's funny; I think I'd go the opposite on the Yankees and Dodgers.  Well, maybe I'd go "no white" for both.  I certainly don't like the sleeve stripes on either.

Trying to imagine replacing the wine accents on each of those jerseys from the first LeBron stint with the mustard yellow....at first thought, seems like it would be too intense, especially if it's outlining the script on the chest.

While you're at it, I'll mention my second wish, which is that the Houston Rockets should make yellow a full-time color and revive their fauxback jerseys, then make home whites based on this uniform:

I'd place the following wishes in a hat then blindly pick one

  • NFL get rid of the white bottom half sock rule
  • NFL get rid of the solid white chinstrap rule
  • NBA get rid of jerseys with sleeves
  • All college sports get rid of names on the back of players jerseys
  • New York Jets go back to Kelly green with black trim
  • Philadelphia Eagles go back to Kelly green and silver
  • NFL make team colored shoes the rule and not an option
  • Patriots go back to the Drew Bledsoe era uniform with a pair of blue pants to go along with the rest of the set
  • Seattle Seahawks go back to previous uniform set
  • Baltimore Orioles get rid of the cartoon bird logo
  • NY Yankees put their cap logo on the home jerseys
  • Plain block numbers on MLS uniforms
  • Get rid of league logos within the jersey numbers in all soccer
  • Football teams wearing white on white (it's always bugged me)
  • NFL referee go back to their old uniforms (without curved lines in their shirts)
  • Cincinnati Bengals go back to their previous uniforms.
  • 49ers add red facemask to their helmets
  • Philadelphia Phillies go back to powder blue road uniforms. Keeping their current shade of bright red though.
  • Baltimore Ravens take the B of the raven head logo
