Also...if anyone knows a fix for the slightly off elements in my few pieces I'd appreciate any help or advice. They look fine on inkscape and in the previews, but when I put them in they are just off enough for it to be annoyingly noticeable. Is it something that I'm doing wrong?

I would consider moving the black piano keys to the top part of the keys and rounding their corners slightly. If the outer design is suppose to be a guitar pick, I would flip it so the point of the pick is pointing down.

That was the initial idea, but the white keys looked more like a "w" than an "m" that way. I'll try flipping the outer design, though. Thanks for the input =)

Didn't even think of the keys as a M, looked like a strange eye to me. Putting the M above the B will probably fix it.

I don't know why but it was giving me a Mr. Krabs from spongebob vibe when I looked at it.

I think you're right. Here's what it looks like

I'll have to mess with a little more to get the outer outline to work better, hopefully I can work on it tomorrow if I don't get called into work again.

Looking at pics of Mr. Krabs, the body shape is pretty much the same and his shirt and pants are similar blues. I may have to revisit the color scheme if it still gives off that vibe.

A closer look at Fort Wayne's logo.

I tried to mimic the shape of Fort Wayne (the historical fort not the city) and I had it with the darker brown as the main color at first, but I didn't like it as much as I like this one. I don't know though, open to suggestions as to which one is better.5912eb5897ed5_FortWayneDefendersLogov1.png.77709e77236359600b3bdc3c8fe7c80e.png

The Columbus Spirit. I have to be honest, I'm not thrilled about this one. I like how it turned out, just the idea in general. I think this would make a good secondary logo, but isn't enough for a primary. Thoughts?

The Columbus Spirit logo looks like it would come from the 50's or 60's. It would be a nice throwback style logo.

Being a FW native, I love that logo

I'm going to say this, since the arena football teams that were established here didn't last long, if you choose to fold any teams, we'd be first to go especially around 2010. Our big economic revival happened around 2013, so if it can last till then, we'd be solid. I would also like to mention since Vera Bradley is from Fort Wayne, if you thought of corporate sponsors for the league; they would make perfect sense.

Expansion suggestions:

-Milwaukee Maidens (Beer theme)

-Chesterfield (Suburb of St Louis) Belles (French for beautiful)

-Des Moines *need a name*

-Duluth Lakers (Right on Lake Superior)

Wow, thanks for the input there! Really glad that you like the logo (I may or may not have taken a screenshot of your comment). Could you think of any ways it could be improved a bit? I'd be happy to hear any suggestions.

For now, the league is looking for ways to stay viable for the next season. Teams aren't losing enough money to have to fold yet and hopefully they continue to draw into next year. Corporate sponsorship is the first major step towards keeping the league running as right now the league is being funded by ticket revenue and the determination (read: bank accounts) of the league's founders.

I can't really think of anyway to improve the Fort Wayne logo, there's not really anything feminine about the city to add besides Vera Bradley being HQd here. As for the viability of the league, I strongly suggest expanding by 2 teams and I really like the locations of Milwaukee and St Louis because of their size, their love of football, and it wouldn't add very much distance for traveling. Plus a St Louis and Memphis rivalry would be easy to stoke.

Again I'll say my name suggestions

-Milwaukee Maidens (could add Miller Beer as a sponsor)

-Chesterfield Belles (suburb of St Louis) (could add Budweiser as a sponsor)

Potential city for expansion that don't add too much travel distance

-Harrisburg Sweets (could add Hershey as a sponsor)

Alright so the Gals of Kalamazoo are an interesting team for me because they're inspired by a song my girlfriend introduced me to and everytime I type their name out I can't help but sing a few lines of it. Here's their main logo up close.
