As for the Browns, I never understood the talk about this bringing them into the future, because the lettering and stripes on the pants reminded me of a pair of old workout pants my dad had had since the 80's.  The style looks dated to me, if anything.

Well that's because it is. The University of Georgia pays the Packers for the licence to use that logo.

I have no opinion on that.   Just pointing out that in a world where so many seem to be okay with logo theft, those two colleges have a formal agreement with the Packers to use their famous "G". 

 

And that the "G" logo unquestionably belongs to the Packers.
