Best/Worst Final Four Logos

College basketball's Final Four has had unique logos that go hand-in-hand with the city location.

What do you consider the best and worst ones you recall?

Personally, here are my 3 favorite logos:

2004

2003

2000

As for my least favorite:

Ironically, New Orleans/San Antonio Final Fours are on my best/worst list.

Best Final Four logos...

How can you not like this one? Memories of the promotional mini ball from Pizza Hut come to mind with this one.

Great view of Mt Rainier!

Another nice one that evokes the host city/region very well. Something like this could work if the new Rams stadium gets to host a Final Four down the road.

I like this one, but I guess last year's logo, which was also for Houston, could be argued as an awesome upgrade over this one.NASA meets NCAA.

Least favorites...

Dueling basketballs + Saturn Rings + Tacked on Twin Cities reference = Yawn

Another snoozer would be this one.

It seems like every Final Four they've had in Indy has had to suffer with a generic logo, although the 2015 Final Four logo did make a subtle reference to the motor speedway.

These were among the first event logos that ever jumped out to young me.

But this from Seattle 89 is maybe the first I ever noticed and recognized that a person somewhere put time and thought into this stuff.

And if only Seattle was still part of the Final Four rotation, they could have had one with either a totem pole or the Space Needle with the current template, or either one of those could've been incorporated into the late 2000's template too.

This current group of NCAA logos used across the board are hideous. They're difficult to view and don't flow in any way. They look piled on

and strained. The only one that looks halfway decent is the one for the final four in Arizona because it fits the southwest in many ways.

Otherwise they paid a lot of money for garbage.

Getting a mini basketball with a pizza was pretty awesome.

But that mountain seems to have given inspiration to this mountain:

I still think they could do it at Safeco Field but that would also be very difficult to pull off
