The late Brad van Pelt, while best known for his years with the Giants, spent the latter part wearing the LT/Phil Simms era-uniforms. This is his "wrong" uniform for his "right" team here.

SIDENOTE: The reason he wore #10 while with the Giants, despite the institution of a player numbering system set up by the NFL in his rookie year of 1973, was because he was the team's backup kicker that year.

He threw out the first pitch the other week when I was at a game, and I wasn't sure if it was him until they flashed his name up. It's like Steve Jeltz without his jheri curl.

John Hannah, the legendary Patriots offensive lineman, wore those high shoulder striped Patriots uniforms for only 2 of his 13 seasons.

Speaking of Roberto Luongo, presstart66, regarding his Vancouver Canucks tenure:

This is his right Vancouver uniform.

And here's his "wrong" one, which he wore only during his first season there.

Bill North and manager Dick Williams dressed in latter-day A's uniforms rather than the style that they wore in the 1970s.

Still my favorite Vikings uniform they’ve ever worn.
