I'm really searching for words right now. I just can't come up with anything. I'll have more to say tomorrow about 11 am, I'll have a computer to access then. Until now, gonna go to bed and try and not be an absolute zombie tomorrow.

This team makes the Sharks look like a dynasty.  If it wasn't going to happen this year, it simply wasn't in the cards.  What a bore it is seeing the Penguins win this match-up yet again.

Hey, at least the Sharks don't lose game 7's at home.

The Penguins aren't 100% healthy now, but man I don't see them dropping more then one to the Sens.

Yes, but the Sens have black magic on their side. It's the only explanation how they've managed to get this far :P

Bettman is sitting in a corner drinking himself to death hoping for the ducks to win so he can have Pittsburgh vs. Anaheim in the finals.

Pens and Ducks...half way to the inevitable.

I don't even care if its the Ducks at this point (I REALLY hope its not the Ducks BTW), but I mean it in a big way when I say ANYONE but the Penguins.

Lol, all that so we can end up with Pens Ducks in the finals. McCarthy is right. This league blows.

If it looks like a Duck, skates like a Duck and is wearing a Ducks jersey...it's probably losing game 7.

The team that draws first blood in Game 7, statistically, wins just over 3 out of 4 times.

Thunder Bay Lynx - International Hockey Association (2 seasons, 2017-18, 2019-20, 2018 Xtreme Cup Champions)Houston Armadillos - Major League Hockey (2 seasons, 2016-18) | Minnesota Muskies - North American Basketball Association (1 season, 2017-2018) | Louisville Thoroughbreds - United League of Baseball (1 season, 2017, 2017 United Cup Champions) | Las Vegas Thunderbirds - International Basketball League (1 season, 2016-17, 2017 Champions)

This really is the worst season in years and a lot of it has to do with the dynamics of the salary cap -- 50% players' share, far too narrow a floor/ceiling range, the unforeseen cratering of the Canadian economy -- imposing a great deal of parity upon a game that inherently has too much parity to begin with. Add fatigue from the Bettman Cup and compressed schedule and this season has been ugly, ugly, ugly. One of the worst of the 21st century, without question. At least it didn't get cancelled, I guess.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

What do the Capitals do at this point? You don't do a blow-up with Ovechkin in his prime because that's just wasting money.  They've tried changing coaches.  They've tried changing GM's (I think?).  They've tried bringing in veterans with Cup-victory experience.  They've done everything right, seemingly, to give themselves the best chance of success in the postseason.

I don't know. I've enjoyed this season, personally. Save for Pittsburgh, there's a lot of new blood.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC
