I'm pretty sure Beezango and Jinder Mahal had combined for zero wins before winning their #1 contender's matches.

I'm going to both NXT Takeover and Backlash. Even with the Ember Moon injury, NXT will have the better card (at this point).

I stand corrected. Jinder Mahal beat Jack Swagger on an episode of RAM before Swagger moved to SmackDown where he... was let go. I know it's a fake sport, but just like your standard fictional story can have moments that are unbelievable and take you out of the story, the same can be true of wrestling. Braun Strowman is not a great wrestler, but he's been booked and written in such a way that I'm willing to believe that he could conceivably beat anybody on the current roster. I don't believe in Jinder Mahal in the same way.

Maybe they can have Roman kill him to write him off and complete the Reigns heel turn.

Elbow injury.

He's off Extreme Rules, but he's expected to be cleared in time for Great Balls of Fire.

I liked Ambrose's very subtle jab at the Great Balls of Fire PPV when he told "Kurt Angle" that he had an idea for the name of the next Pay-Per-View.

And speaking of PPVs, there's never been a better reason to take these brand exclusive PPV events down to two hour "Network Specials" than this Backlash card so far.

If I was Chris Jericho, the PPV name Great Balls of Fire would... make the list!

NXT almost always has the better card.

This week, I heard some comments from casual fans who tune into NXT for the first time and have asked why they don't do that high-pace action on the main roster...

Also, the Ember injury may be a work, just like Billie Kay's worked neck snap injury.

Not trying to get political, but I figured we'd get a laugh out of the last line...

I wonder if anything would ever make me care about Dolph Ziggler.

He seemed like a big internet darling when I first started watching, but he's been totally uninteresting since the end of his MIz feud.

I haven't watched much wrestling lately because of school, playoffs, and such, but I finally got back to watching Lucha Underground and I'm pretty happy with myself because this just happened.
