Since the mods are trialing a new forum policy where each significant logo/uniform change will get its own thread, and since the Blazers are set to unveil their new "Association" and "Icon" uniforms today, I figured I'd bump this thread with the teaser image the team posted yesterday, as well as the mockups that I came up with, along with the ones Conrad came up with:

I wonder if the Blazers might just use silver trim on the white uniform and their new dark gray (almost black) alternate color in place of silver on the black uniform. I went ahead and mocked that up, and I have to say I think it'd be a great way to utilize another one of their new alternate colors. And btw, I used the color codes from @ColorWerx in this mockup, so the colors should be accurate. Overall, I'd be thrilled if the new uniforms looked something like this:

All things considered, I'd say they're a small upgrade over the previous set. I was expecting the removal of silver from the primary uniforms, but I don't mind its continued inclusion since it only appears on the neck and armhole trim, along with the sash stripe. The new wordmarks actually look really nice on the jerseys IMO, and the updated number font works really nicely with the wordmarks. I also think they were smart to only outline the numbers since the wordmarks probably would've been muddled up a bit with red outlines.

More or less of what we expected. But is does look like there will be both red and silver alternates, so silver seems to at least have a reason to stick around on the primaries.

Yep, looks like red and silver alternates are in the works:

Contrary to the mockup in that screenshot, the black jersey has the "PORTLAND" wordmark.

That article also says that while they don't have a jersey advertiser as of now, they hope to add one before the season, or it's possible that one could be added mid season, or not at all, depending on how long it takes to find a suitable partner.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this update. I'd say these are the best of the Nike uniforms to be released so far, granted not many have been released up to this point.

I'm happy with them.  Nothing too drastic but a nice, solid update.  I'm really wanting to see what their "Athlete" and "Community" ones look like.

Blazers didn't disappoint. I'd have red outlines on the script logo but I won't lose sleep over it.

Portland. All of the images show it with the Portland wordmark, the only thing that showed it with the Blazers wordmark was the mockup at the end of their release video.

Looks like an error on the graphics department.  It'll be Blazers on the whites and Portland on the blacks.

I like it! It's an effective modernization/simplification of the previous uniforms. I don't like the outline inconsistency, but it's still good.

Eh, feels really lateral. New wordmarks are a plus, but mismatched text/number treatment and keeping silver on the sash is a dissapointment. 

 

They were almost there. Everything's just okay.

Not really a big change outside the tweaked font. It's a very small downgrade IMO, but they're still pretty sharp.

Not bad, but the wordmarks should be outlined like the numbers.

I disagree, I think they're a definite upgrade. The old italic font with the awkward outline/dropshadow was getting really dated, and the updated wordmarks and number font look really sharp IMO.

If anything, I would've preferred the numbers to be single-colored to match the wordmarks. I don't mind only the numbers having outlines though, mainly because I think the outlines would've muddled up the wordmarks a bit too much.
