I personally like how 'Phillies' looks on the home and Sunday alt uniforms, but I'd be open to change the light blue, the maroon, or both. You could consider putting it on the home alt, but I would be reluctant to put it on all the jerseys. If you do decide to use it on the home alt, I would put the "Phillies" wordmark back on the road jersey.

I would say just use the "P" on the road options, to replace a "Philadelphia" script. MJD7
Alright so here is an update for Philly, where maroon becomes the primary road but the powder blue stays as an alternate, both changing to just the "P" logo.

MJD7
Moving on today to the Pittsburgh Pirates! Logos -Once again, not much changes from my tweaks series, as the Pirates have a classic identity and a classic color scheme. The striped hats make a return, however, and obviously the gray road uniform has been removed. Uniforms -I decided to bring the sleeveless look back to the home uniform because although I love their current home, the lack of sleeves gives a very pirate feel and traces back to Clemente's days. -Although the primary away is the combination depicted, the Pirates could realistically go with any combo of colored elements on the road (except for maybe all yellow, which would probably be too much.) -I kept the three-stripe motif going throughout the set, present on the hats and the socks. C+C is appreciated, as always. I know these last few teams have been pretty basic, but I promise things are about to get pretty interesting! coco1997
I'd go with the first option, though I'm not a fan of the double outlines.

coco1997
And just like Goldilocks with the bowls of porridge, the third one is just right! EDIT: I do have one other small suggestion. The outer circle of the sleeve patch should be white so that it doesn't disappear onto the sleeve. For consistency, I would suggest doing the same on the away jersey, though that might not look as good since there's no white anywhere else on it. I'd really prefer to not add gray to the set, especially since Philly is one of the easiest teams to add colored away uniforms for. However, both away jerseys are certainly options to be worn at home, here's how they would look: 1 hour ago, MCM0313 said: I like this look, but remember that when the team briefly experimented with an all-maroon uniform back in the late 1970s, it was despised by fans and players alike. That is certainly true. In this hypothetical situation though, now the Phillies would not be the only team to have a brightly colored away uniform that isn't light blue, so hopefully that would make the change less of a big deal. I could make light blue the primary away again, but I haven't really gotten a strong reaction one way or the other on what I should do, so I just kept them both. 11 hours ago, coco1997 said: And just like Goldilocks with the bowls of porridge, the third one is just right! I didn't really want to try it on the black jersey, since I knew I wouldn't like it on there.
coco1997
I agree that the powder blue Phillies alt could probably be used on its own without needing a matching pair of pants. The tweaked sleeve patch looks much better on the Pirates alt. Looking forward to the next team!
SFGiants58
I like the Pirates set you've designed, and I really like the "Goldilocks" version of the gold alternate. However, I do kind of wish it was a vest. It'd go more with the home uniform that way. The road jersey shouldn't be a vest, because a black vest with black undershirts is kind of pointless. That was the main reason why I proposed the alternate without any white, to better match with the socks. I don't know how much adding white to the socks would help though, since it would be the only white if paired with a combo of say (hat/jersey/pants) yellow/black/black. Moving on to the next expansion team, the Portland Beavers! Logos -I'd like to go through the creative process a bit on this one. From its inception created to be a nice contrast to Seattle in overall branding, I started off with my own combination of ideas which resulted in the Portland Pioneers. Since that felt a little too all over the place for my taste, I decided to go back to an identity that already had plenty of history: the Portland Beavers. After going through my fair share of color schemes, all involving the color red, I finally settled on Florida State's scheme with off-white, since it gives a throwback feel that plays nicely off of modern, sleek look that Seattle will have. -The cap logo is based off of the "B" from the wordmark, complete with the beaver tail. I couldn't find a high-quality version of the "Portland" wordmark large enough, but that is the wordmark of the away jersey, not "Beavers." Uniforms -I went with a beaver-tail striping aesthetic throughout the set, as I thought it looked pretty sweet and fit in perfectly with the theme. -The numbers are a throwback block that matches well with the letters in the primary and with the overall old-fashioned theme. -An off-white cap is normally paired with the alternate jersey at home, though that cap can be worn with the primary home as well on occasion. I'd love to hear what you all think, the next (and last) expansion team will be coming up next!
