Looks good. Is it possible to make the wings of the bee white?

No, it is absolutely impossible. Just kidding.

To accommodate for the extra white though, I tried infusing some more throughout the rest of the set. Is this better? Worse?

Looks great! I didn't think the set needed white trim, but now that I see it, I like it much better this way.

Exactly my thoughts. The bee logo on the sleeve looks great and really ties it all together.

Alright then, I guess it's cool to move on to the next team, the San Diego Padres!

Logos

-No real big changes from my tweaks series, as I liked where that look ended off. I just darkened both the brown and the gold to be richer shades, made the "SD" on the brown background dual-colored, and flipped the wordmarks on the brown and gold jerseys.

Uniforms

-All brown becomes the away look, resembling the look of an actual friar. Other than that, no real changes to the uniforms, though hopefully the new shades make this set feel more full than the last.

C+C is appreciated, as always!

I'd like to see the "SD" logo on the alt. A yellow version of this with brown replacing white:

It's a crisp, clean look, and I really liked when the Padres wore it as their home jersey last year, even though a lot of people hate city initials on home jerseys.

I should point out that Wil Myers is the only player on those four concepts that's still on the team.

Padres look great! One minor tweak, if you're going with the Franciscan look for the away uniform then I think a white belt would be more appropriate.Franciscan%20Provincial%20Council.jpg?it

You're probably right, I was imagining the belt being gold like in the primary, but I couldn't find any real-life examples of that. Here it is:

Where have I been?? I haven't been following the Padres very much I guess, even though they play my Twins today.

Here's an SD alternate:

The Padres look good but I'd love to see an all yellow away uniform

And here it is paired with yellow pants:

I feel like posting this a little bit early, so I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys the final expansion team, the Salt Lake Bees!

Logos

597fc9380aaa1_SaltLakeBeesLogos.thumb.png.ca7dc72a537a197caa18cefe93c12dbd.png

-Finishing off the AL Central, I chose to bring the Salt Lake Bees up to the bigs because I could base their identity off of the former Boston Bees, which went on to become the Atlanta Braves. Although royal & yellow was already taken, navy & yellow was not, so I decided to go with that scheme.

-I gave the home uniform pinstripes to resemble old Bees sets, which is also complimented by making the wordmark yellow.

Uniforms

597fc860de589_SaltLakeBeesHome.thumb.png.831f50a0cd50c4b52a1e2910bb9cfa7d.png597fc86dc9c35_SaltLakeBeesAway.thumb.png.5cf30d5ce202761caa7af3c55bac57c3.png597fc876b2ce0_SaltLakeBeesAlternate1.thumb.png.9d3d55a49cf37005bee737846f558b74.png

-The uniforms are primarily based off of the 1937 and 1938 Bees sets, both of which I think are fantastic. I especially love the yellow socks at home. The double-stripe feature on the sleeves comes from this set, with the added bee-stripe format (which fits in line with the pinstripes at home) as a modern touch.

-I had a hard time finding a number font that fit well, hopefully the one I chose does the trick.

-The socks keep the bee-stripe pattern going throughout the set. Originally the stripes were continuous from top to bottom, but I scrapped that since it would probably be too garish.

I'd love to hear what you guys think about my last of the six expansion teams!

Golden. I like it a lot! Man, good job.

Time to show the next team up in the series, the San Francisco Giants!

Logos

-This set is basically a cleaned up version of my tweaks concept. Although I kind of wanted to do more with this, I resorted to just dropping the drop shadow to create for a more clean, modern look that still throws back to old Giants sets

-The darker shade of gold is dropped entirely, but the lighter, sandier color seen in the primary is kept in the smallest of doses.

-The black away uniform, to match the cap, is given a solid orange wordmark without outlines.

Uniforms

598495659d272_SanFranciscoGiantsHome.thumb.png.daf9ae0c3b72ab8d64d5288ac55a2ab8.png5984956f4769c_SanFranciscoGiantsAway.thumb.png.ef588d3fefcdf6703f55040064fc8e23.png5984957907164_SanFranciscoGiantsAlternate1.thumb.png.b9de1d05f60d40a46dcf426ee0893363.png59867832d042b_SanFranciscoGiantsAlternate2.thumb.png.ba192a6e6fc9cf810e8944a29b8e4963.png

-Although I originally had the Golden Gate Bridge present in the stripe pattern, I began to realize that it was a sort of cheesy look that @SFGiants58 would probably not like! So, I came upon a much subtler way of incorporating the bridge, I gave the socks four orange stripes instead of the usual three, which is inspired by the four sort of "connections" seen on each tower.

-The patch logo is an adjusted version of the 2010 World Series Champions logo, which I think is  a fantastic looking logo.

Well this wraps up the NL West, with a pretty simple, classic look that doesn't need much adjusting. I'd love to hear what you all think!

Nice work! I like the four-stripe pattern, and the sleeve patch design. Going full John McGraw on the road uniforms was an inspired touch, and I'm surprised at how legible the 1994-99 road wordmark looks when it's single-color. Good work. I'd add that Eduardo Nuñez isn't on the team anymore, but that's a tiny quibble.

The NL West looks fantastic, and I'm looking forward to your next concept.

Thank you both! I also fixed Eduardo Nuñez, I have to admit I haven't been following baseball quite as much recently haha.

Seattle is up tomorrow.

Here is the team of the Emerald City, the Seattle Mariners!

Logos

59874acb6f4cf_SeattleMarinersLogos.thumb.png.a4e3aead82e4f4534f415906dac1b7ca.png

-I decided to hop on the double-teal train for this series, an idea which has gained popularity since @SFGiants58 proposed it in @Victormrey's terrific series. I made the lighter teal less of a minty color, and moreso just a lighter shade of my previous version of teal. I feel like the two colors give a very oceanic feel.

-From the beginning, my goal was to modernize and refresh the Mariners current look, since it is one I believe can stand the test of time. I originally had made use of drop shadows, but I felt that was an admittedly lazy attempt at modernizing the team without any basis for such use. Instead, I tried using a double outline, an element that has been used in the team's past which hopefully helps to bring out the brighter shade of teal. I also removed the baseball from behind the compass rose to make it less busy and more prominent.

-I also reversed the color orientation on the dark backgrounds, in order to make the lighter teal a larger part of the set.

Uniforms

-The uniforms follow a similar style to my tweaks series, as I like a Seattle Pilots-inspired look for them. The sock pattern is once again inspired by Jesse Alkire's site, which I think does a good job fitting into my set.

-The darker teal is the base of the away set, with the lighter teal being brought out in accent areas to give the uniform a real pop.

-I also kept the teal cap as an option for a home alt, since I really love that look for the M's.

I'd love to be able to get some comments/criticisms on this set for the Mariners!

I'm surprised by how much I like that dark teal road set!

This is a stray observation, and you might not even care, but I noticed almost all of the AL West primary logos are roundels. Was that intentional or just coincidence?

EDIT: Could we see the home alt with a white wordmark on the front?
