here's Nick Foles waving from on top of a dinosaur.  Makes sense.

If it's all about a "system", and anyone can be great if they're in that "system", why doesn't everyone just copy the system?  Seriously?  Why can't the coaches that coach that system simply implement it elsewhere and have the same success?

Stop it with the "it's the system" stuff.  The "system" can't hold for 16 years.  The game changes, trends change, styles change, etc.  The Patriots obviously have a great coach that has a winning philosophy, but stop discounting the skill of their players, especially their QB.  If it was just a "system", then every other team is stupid for not just doing the same thing - and let's not act like it's rocket science and that it requires 10 coaches working 30-hr days to design the "system".

I think the point in this Dallas Oakland game where the ref used the piece of paper to check the measurement of the spot is where I've officially quit on the NFL.

If there's a play that defines the Raiders better than that final play tonight, I don't know what it could possibly be.

Carr should of ran out of bounds..He had the 1st Down anyway....

And Beast Mode gets another unsportsmanlike penalty. Had the Raiders kept the ball, instead of potentially punching it in close, they would've been forced to go from the 16 or so. Just stupid by him.

that touchback rule is the single worst one in football.  I've been saying it for years - it makes absolutely no sense that it's treated differently when the ball goes out of the endzone vs when it goes out of bounds anywhere else.

I hate the NFL.

Admittedly I'm a Canadian outsider who doesn't watch much football, but my understanding is that, if he has the ball and falls to the ground, he's only ruled down when someone from the other team touches him. Did the refs forget about that because ???, or am I just wrong, or missing something else?

Can we all admit that the Patriots are the real reason the NFL's ratings are dropping? Everyone outside of New England is tired of games and championships constantly being gifted to the least deserving franchise/fanbase in sports.

And I thought colortv claiming Canada got the idea to refer to itself as “the North” from GoT was the most ridiculous thing I’d see posted on these forums this decade.

A dynasty is not causing the ratings decline. Stop being silly.
