The Vikings saved their worst game of the year for tonight... Way to go. Now you get to come back home and watch two other teams battle it out for the Super Bowl, IN YOUR HOME STADIUM. The Vikings defense made some of the dumbest plays tonight. If Barr went for the Legs of the RB who caught a pass right before the TD that made it 21-7, the Vikings are still in that game. He made a dumb play, and it swung all the momentum to the Eagles permanently. The D made Nick Foles look like a superstar tonight. (Granted, he's not a terrible quarterback, but when the defense is leaving guys wide open, it's not hard to rack up great numbers.) But it seems like some people are unhappy about Philly. And I'm surprised. They're a good team that has not been to the Super Bowl in almost 15 years. Why would Vikings / Pats be any better than Eagles / Pats? I’ve seen it the other way a lot, but the eagles were the better team in all facets all season long and I really can’t comprehend any dispute there. He’s been the opposite, and gameplanned perfectly without Wentz. They’ll lose to New England, but howie and Doug completed the chip Kelly revolution. I used to really loathe the Eagles, but this was 15 years ago when they kept facing the Bucs in the playoffs at the Vet. And once Ronde Barber returned the game-sealing INT for a touchdown in 2002, the catharsis more-or-less took most of the starch out of that. So I'm pretty neutral on the Eagles these days. Maybe if the Bucs EVER get their act together again and there are more playoff meetings, I'll go back to loathing them. I don't know if Bortles will be back or not, but their future relevance looks pretty clear with or without him. And so much for the Vikings playing in their own stadium, that would've been cool (even if they would've lost, which would've been likely). I don't know who's going to be their starting QB next year, but I think Keenum deserves consideration. As for the Super Bowl itself, I don't care. If New England wins, they tie Pittsburgh for the most (Super Bowl) titles, and I'd love that knowing the fact that it would infuriate Steelers fan so much.
