While Ecuador might be “horrible” and Chile may have taken advantage of a rule, it still could’ve easily been Argentina, Colombia, or Peru in that spot. I've been to Chile recently and everyone out there said after the back to back Copa America's the players wanted a lot of money to play for the national team and showed no passion. That said, when they acused Bolivia of using the irregular player they got 2 points and Peru got 3 points from their loss. If it wasn't for that Chile would finish in 5th place above Peru. Andrew Carleton is staying in MLS (for now) but already broke through to Atlanta's first team. As has been said by people smarter than me, a lot of the problems everyone got upset about last week re US Soccer and men's development are already in the process of being addressed, there's just a long tailing effect. Koeman is not going to make it another week. He never actually bought a striker to replace Lukaku, and it has been showing. Rooney has (surprisingly) actually been playing at a high level this season, but it's all in vain because most everyone else is nowhere near his level.
