radchad
Every time I see that skyline on the court, it reminds me of this, specifically the "come and look at both of our buildings!" line.

BlackBolt3
^^^So a whole 2 months out, we have a confirmed uniform matchup: Cleveland's Statement vs. Charlotte's Classic.
truepg
This has the same problem as the Clippers' Statement jersey - the logo and the number don't look good stacked, or, the number should've been smaller. The more I look at it, the more I am apalled at how it got through - it should've been declared unfunctional at first sight. No visual hierarchy whatsoever between those two. VDizzle12
It's not perfect, but looks much better in photos than the 2k leak. I actually really like the pinstripes. Not sure why they didn't just use those on all of the uniforms.
Digby
Logos instead of wordmarks have never looked good, and it's made substantially worse competing with the Nike logo and sponsor logo for attention whereas a wordmark demonstrates a visual hierarchy difference from those things. CitizenTino
Please refresh my memory, friends: Have we heard any rumblings about the Cavs' fourth jersey? I swear Someone Who Knows Things says it's going to be navy, but I'm hearing it might be orange. I'm extremely skeptical of that. I just assumed it would be navy with a wine "CAVS" wordmark and numbers, pretty much a straight update of their previous navy. @Conrad., is that something you could mock up? Fox
Oddly, the thing that bothers me the most about this uniform is the 3-D shadow with navy under the C logo. I much preferred the flat C, and thought it looked really slick on black. Between the navy on black and mismatched treatment between the logo and number, I'm not a fan. I'm starting to come around on the tire tread pattern though.

Again, given the design timelines, there is no way designers knew Goodyear was going to be the Cavs’ advertiser when this was designed. Plus, why would they cover it up with the sword story if it was supposed to be a tire tread? There are corporate logos on the uniforms, so it can’t be because they thought it would be shameful to base a uniform design element on an advertiser’s product. Is there another motive?
