Yup, that was my choice too.

Admittedly I'm biased since I'm a Cal fan who now lives within a stone's throw of UNC's campus, but just look at this! The patterns, the colors, the simplicity...it's so great.

Lol. I definitely agree with you. Very pleased with UA and it's an upgrade for Cal in my book. Simple design. One thing I just noticed: Isn't that the same number font of the new UCLA uniforms? Or am I just seeing things.

Not to mention the UNC Jordan unis. Love everything about it

IDK that this is one of the best match ups of the week but it was really aesthetically pleasing from the stands with a great mix of colors. The Louisville helmet is gorgeous in person, pictures do not do it justice at all.

Oh of course. Not sure how I feel about the funky design on the Purdue shoulders but other than that it is very nice. Something about chrome helmets....

One that hasn't been mentioned yet but still looked pretty nice was Mississippi State vs. Charleston Southern:

Mississippi State's set looks tremendous now that there's a unified striping pattern, and, even though CSU's uniforms are just a generic and somewhat boring Nike catalog set, they're pretty clean and inoffensive overall. I thought there was a really nice balance between CSU's white/white/navy and MSU's maroon/maroon/white.

MSU is easily one of my favorite looks in college football. Yeah CSU's font looks like one of those typical Nike fonts but I agree 100% with you. My favorite MSU look might be all white.

I've never cared for Michigan wearing alternates, but there was something about the all-maize that just sat right with me...

Yeah I'm not a fan of the all maize for Michigan. But hey, they won in them so keep wearing them.

Nope, they're different fonts:

There are some similarities between them, though.

As far as the looks themselves, I think Arizona State's unis would look good on a black/yellow team, but it's weird to see a burgundy-free uniform on a burgundy/yellow team (not maroon btw). Utah State would look better with white pants and Washington State would look better with a silver helmet. I agree that UW-USU is a sharp-looking matchup.

Lol, thanks. I didn't realize that the original post was actually double-posted rather than moved.

Our fight song is literally called maroon and gold. Where did you get burgundy from?

Weird, because that color is burgundy. Maroon is simply dark red. Burgundy is purplish-red, which is what ASU wears. You can call it maroon if you want, but either the school founders didn't know their colors or (more likely) the specific shade has mutated over the years.

This is the winner.

If CU would go back to wearing a bright, vibrant gold instead of that champagne-colored "Vegas gold" crap, that might be the winner. What does Nike have against metallic colors?

Or, more likely, the adidas tire track pattern combined with the lighting did that and that's the only ASU uniform you've ever seen in your life

You also have to remember that it was about 110 degrees at kickoff. Heavy sweat tends to darken that particular shade of red. Especially on those s****y Adidas jerseys.

The bottom two are more burgundy than maroon. EA's TeamBuilder isn't necessarily gospel, but they use a burgundy shade for ASU also.

Two pages in and no one has posted the best looking game of the week. I will do it for you:

LSU vs BYU 2.PNG

@Germanshepherd posted it on the first page. But yeah, that was definitely one of the better looking games of the week, if not the best. There were some other games that were pretty close, but I'd probably have to give the edge to this one.
