The elephant did make a comeback on the '99 TatC jerseys, so while rarely seen, I think the A's do still keep the elephant around. The issue isn't so much location centric, as I think historic: how many people today know what the elephant means?

Rarely seen? the elephant is on every jersey except the Friday alt now?  Their mascot is an elephant also.

A's will once again be looking great while losing 100 games.

umm last time they lost 100 games was 1979, since 2000 they are on upper half of winnings seasons and playoff appearances.

While I am in general opposed to coloured jerseys, the A's get an historical pass thanks to their 1970s uniforms.

The kelly green is wonderful, of course. It's what they should always have been wearing instead of that drab shade. I just wish the hat had a gold brim. An all green hat doesn't look right with that uni style.

Anyway, despite the fact that the current uniform style has been around for 30 years, I can say that I never liked the look for that team. It's inoffensive; but it's also somewhat characterless.  The wordmark is a bland Kansas City invention.

The defining feature of the franchise is the "A" on the front of the jersey. That is too good a logo not to use.

So the uniform style that best fits the A's is this one:

...but in kelly green.

I'm am NOT a fan of the A's new Kelly green alt set. I don't understand why the A's keep chipping away at their look. Pretty much every move they've made in the past ten years has been a downgrade IMO.

If only John Fisher would sell the damn A's to Joe Lacob and his group who actually want to build a ballpark on the Coliseum site and develop the area into an entertainment district.

#1 problem with the Braves new mascot: You named it Blooper. What the hell. Please don't tell me it's long for bloop like in bloop single.

Wonder if the Dodgers will play in their blue jerseys next season, i see that jersey is available with  their 60 year ani patch. You don't normally wear anniversary patches on BP jersey?

If they plan on doing that, they need the LA on the sleeve so the jerseys match

Cobb County is so afraid of people of color that even their Phillie Phanatic is albino.

And the only way to offend people of color more than a colorful mascot is to make sure even your fictional, furry, alien-esque mascot is Caucasian.. Smh Braves

What part of Blooper is Caucasian? #wordshavemeanings

A small change the Angels only recently made (like within the past couple seasons) is using red belts, cleats and batting equipment instead of black. It's such a small change but I think it makes such a big difference in improving the look.

As overused as navy is, I still think the Angels best look was their '86-'88 look:

I think it could work modernized a bit. Use the current "A" and wordmark. But I prefer the more standard block font.

Yes please ... I so miss the Angels as a red AND navy team.

The color of belts and shoes is an underrated aspect of a team's look.  It's a minor thing, but it can change the entire tone.

Huh...  Never hit send on this four hours ago.
