With inspiration from the Windy City Bulls logo, I decided to update this classic logo into a much less dated and cooler design. Let me know what you think. OLD: NEW: Using the Windy City Bulls for the whole top half could be a good start, but the lines of the the old logo's nose don't jive well with the top IMO. The WCB head is more elevated, that's why the eyes look so much higher on the concept. Maybe try enlarging the nose/mouth and shortening the space from the brows to the nose.
