pepis21
I'm very disappointing about gk shirts, Adidas took current GK design, put graphic on them and call it a day. Lazy move especially that they always made a new template for tournaments like this.

That font looks horrible and ruins a pretty good kit (still wish they did it in German flag colors though, even if it's not as big of an offense that I thought at the start)
ElwoodCuse
So is FIFA finally letting teams wear proper jerseys again? That whole thing last time with "oh you have to wear monochrome kits because of the HD broadcasts" made zero sense and was not supported by facts in any way

I think the supporter backlash towards the manufacturers, especially when certain countries seemed to be exempt from this "rule", turned their opinions back to more traditional looks. upperV03
Belgium keeper shirt: Also, a good look at all of the home shirts for the premier Adidas countries now that they’ve all been officially unveiled: A really nice collection overall. Taking into consideration the shorts and socks of each, I’d say my favorites are Argentina, Colombia, and Spain. Germany’s is really nice too, but they should’ve used the colors of the flag to make it more true to the original. And Belgium’s is quite nice as well, but I would’ve preferred black shorts, even though the red shorts are more true to the ‘84 kit.

Looks like adidas is making they 2018 WC jerseys be more "fashionable" where everyone would want to wear them on the streets. the photo of the keeper jerseys makes it look like a colorful casual shirt. It's a nice tribute to a classic Rene Higuita strip. Also, unsurprisingly, the blue+red stripes on Spain's kit are rather close to the morado in the Republican flag and there's been some controversy over it. Japan is meant to recall by Sashiko embroidery, and I think it's an inspired choice, but apparently the front is a much darker color than the sleeves and back which kind of ruins it. Would have been much better with the darker blue everywhere, and maybe even the sashiko print
